VIP / Concierge Corporate Travel Agent –

Overview:

Concertiv is hiring a superstar, strategy-oriented Executive Travel Coordinator to work with some of the most prestigious executives in investment banking, private equity, consulting, and venture capital, supporting their travel programs. This is a hands-on role, working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with the travel leadership team and our clients. Candidates should have experience with corporate travel, luxury services, DMC providers and supplier contracting. The winning candidate will show the initiative to solve problems and challenges to deliver successful results for our clients.

This role demands a detail-oriented and customer-focused mindset – you should be passionate about delivering exceptional support and solving challenges proactively. The position involves managing client interactions, overseeing the smooth operation of our booking tool, and delivering a premium white glove service to ensure an outstanding user experience. Your role is to be knowledgeable about services and solutions to provide the best possible travel experience for our road warriors. You’ll go above and beyond to assist with making restaurant reservations, booking and/or managing private jet allocations and supporting the overall traveler journey.

Concertiv is not a travel agency, but we live and breathe travel and integrate it with other critical procurement verticals, including professional services, to support our clients’ success. In the upcoming months, we will be releasing an online booking tool in order to expand our offerings to smaller financial firms without the structure to support an in-house travel manager. This role will work to support this service while evolving our supplier relations in the VIP and Luxury space. Although booking experience is a plus, GDS knowledge is not required.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide white-glove travel support services to executives during and prior to travel, arranging VIP and exclusive services (airport fast-tracks, luxury suites, lounges and loyalty programs).
  • Research and negotiate preferred access to supper clubs, hotel clubs and other unique experiences in cities with client offices.
  • Assist in the procurement and booking of new leisure rates in the cruise and tour vertical.
  • Develop relationships with client executives and staff by supporting and advising them on access to Concertiv programs.
  • Support Concertiv’s VIP travel strategy through partnership acquisition, client-specific execution and project management.
  • Research and maintain knowledge on exclusive service offerings within our top destinations and transit cities.
  • Collect, review, and transform travel data from multiple data sources to deliver to client management teams and identify opportunities to shift share to preferred partners.
  • Work with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to implement and streamline corporate travel programming across multiple customers to create efficiencies and optimize usage of our preferred partners.
  • Work directly with suppliers and top companies in the industry (airlines, hotels, agencies…) to negotiate best-in-class group discounts, traveler benefits and soft dollar value.
  • Work on business cases to support development of vendor partnerships on behalf of Concertiv clients.

You should have:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of the luxury travel industry and relevant services.
  • Strong contacts within the luxury travel marketplace.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience booking a range of travel related procurement management activities including but not limited to airline, hotel, corporate or leased jet, rental car, and other travel related systems and service providers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and oral form.
  • Excellent organizational skills and flawless attention to detail – ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage a large volume of information while providing exceptional customer service under pressure.
  • A creative, resourceful, and passionate demeanor to take the initiative to accomplish your goals.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary, bonus, and equity compensation in a fast-growing, PE-owned company
  • Opportunity to shape the strategic direction of an industry-disrupting business
  • Sharp, motivated co-workers in a fun work environment
  • Generous Health, Dental, Vision Benefits, 401k, and PTO Plan

Compensation: $70,000-$90,000/year (Base + Bonus)

Onsite NYC: Monday -Thursday
