Travel Consultant (Sabre GDS)
- As a Travel Consultant, you join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. What You will be doing:
- Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
- Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
- Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexities, for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
- Use Sabre GDS.
- Training may be provided as a refresher if needed.
- Ensure compliance with customers' agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.
- Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.

What We are Looking For:
- Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of need
- Native GDS expertise in Sabre
- Professional communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler's information
- Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
- Resolving customer issues quickly and independently/with the supplier
- Teamwork and openness to feedback.
Requirements:
- Seeking individuals with 3 years of corporate travel experience using GDS system SABRE. Please ensure this is listed within the resume.
- The manager asks that candidates have their working availability on their resumes. These positions will start with training sessions 9am-5pm EST; however, the shifts will be Fully Remote; Our Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation. Shifts can be anywhere from 8am - 8pm EST.
- HS/GED is the education requirement for this role.
- 6-month initial engagement with the possibility of extensions.

Compensation:
$25 - $30/hour (W-2 – Non Exempt)
