Position Title: Travel Counselor

Working hours: Flexible schedule able to work during hours of 8 AM - 8 PM EST (Must work EST working hours), and for training purposes, the first 3-4 weeks, the workers will work around 9 am -5 pm EST.

Overview:
As a Travel Consultant, you join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. Most of our Traveler Care leadership started in this role, and you can find us in almost every other department.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups).
- Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
- Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexities, for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
- Use the various Global Distribution Systems GDS system Sabre.
- Training may be provided as a refresher if needed.
- Ensure compliance with customers agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.
- Collaborate with your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.

Requirements:
- Seeking individuals with 3 years of corporate travel experience using the GDS system SABRE.
- HS/GED is the education requirement for this role.
- Passion for delivering excellence in client service, with a proactive approach to anticipating customer needs.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Commitment to acting with integrity and safeguarding sensitive traveler information.
- Solid understanding of the travel industry, with experience in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.
- Proven ability to resolve customer issues promptly and independently, or in coordination with suppliers.
- Strong team player with openness to feedback and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. While we have dedicated colleagues for night shifts, this role may require afternoon shifts (12 PM – 8 PM) and weekend availability, as our Traveler Care team operates 24/7.
