Host Agency
MainStreet Travel has been such a good fit that it honestly changed how this career feels day to day. When friends ask about them, I always tell them about the training, the FAM trips, and how affordable it is to be part of the agency! They've given me confidence, a strong support system, and the space to grow at my own pace while still feeling guided. They're definitely in the competition for best agency!

I began my training with Magical Moments Vacations at the end of November 2025, and I can confidently say that the experience has been exceptional. From the very beginning, the support I have received as a new travel advisor has exceeded my expectations. The management staff has been consistently available to guide me, answer my questions, and help me navigate each step of this journey. Shawn Lapeyrouse has played a key role in my success from the moment of my first interview. She is remarkably accessible and always willing to provide assistance, no matter the day or time. Joani Glasgow has made my training process as smooth and stress‑free as possible. Whether I needed clarification on assignments or help navigating the training program, she was always there—again showing an impressive level of availability and dedication. The entire Magical Moments Vacations team has been warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. They have never made me feel like a burden, even with all the questions that naturally come with being a new agent. Additionally, Ashley Ebey has been a tremendous resource in the marketing department. Her advice and feedback have been invaluable as I’ve begun building my social media presence. Choosing to join Magical Moments Vacations has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made as I start this new chapter in my career.
Host Agency
While this agency has a great relationship with Walt Disney World and Universal and most of the agents book those two suppliers, they aren't a great agency. In reality, it's like they are disguising themselves as a host as they do things hosts legally shouldn't be doing. They mandate meetings/trainings/other things, which legally they aren't allowed to do. Enforce very large sales to get to the next commission rate (which either increased by 5% or 10%, depending on the year. But don't expect to get to 90% unless you sell hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales (like $500k+). You have to use their branding for everything. You cannot charge fees to clients. You cannot use outside email, websites, cards, etc. The owner is more interested in hiring as many agents as possible and there is minimal training, so it's not the agency for you if you need training. Any leads that come to the agency go to the sales managers, and there are not enough sales managers to help everyone on their team. Part of your commission also goes to your sales manager. Commission checks are frequently late when the commission is one with a comma. If you're looking a Disney focused agency, there are much better options. I do not recommend and know many current agents who want to leave and are working toward that goal. And finally, this is a family agency. Almost everyone who is in administration is a family member of the owner.

Hi, I’m Steph! I own the site. :)

I’m passionately curious, always up for something new! I love to travel, read/write, and meet new people. I have a sweet Aussie named Fennec and a boisterous Husky mix called Orion that keep me company!

I grew up in the travel industry, my parents’ travel agency was in the basement. Later on, I built and worked at a host agency for years. Sometimes I get so excited about things, I think I leave a trail of rainbows in my footprints! :)
