These 2 newly created positions for the Leisure & Wellness Travel Manager will be based on the east and west coast to allow for in-market representation. You are responsible for the development and growth of travel agent, consortium partner, and corporate wellness account revenue from assigned territory. You will also pro-actively assists VP of Sales with strategic market initiatives and direction. You monitor market and competitive trends and pro-actively recommends actionable items and works with sales teams on strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure alignment across the brand. This key position also takes a leadership role in virtual and in-person trade-show and event organization, such as Virtuoso Travel Week and FHR. You will actively work with properties to ensure travel industry and wellness account business is growing.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in hospitality sales with increasing responsibilities, demonstrates in-depth understanding of evolving luxury hospitality and wellness industries, established media and influencer contacts in the field of health, wellness, travel, lifestyle and luxury. You will need to be knowledgeable and comfortable using social media tools for sales, electronic hotel distribution channels including GDS, hotel e-commerce, market trends and economic factors. Proficient with Salesforce, EMMA and Delphi or Delphi FDC.
