Role Description As a Group Travel Advisor at Voyzant Inc., you will manage group travel inquiries from travel agents and agencies, including quoting, itinerary planning, and booking air, hotel, and ground services. You will coordinate group reservations with airlines and suppliers, negotiate rates when possible, and ensure accurate documentation of contracts, payments, and passenger information. Daily responsibilities include responding to client requests via phone and email, providing expert guidance on travel options, policies, and restrictions, and resolving issues or changes promptly. You will collaborate with internal teams to support corporate and leisure group programs, maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline and travel industry regulations, and contribute to process improvements. This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home arrangements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in group travel planning, reservations, and coordination, ideally within a B2B or consolidator environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with travel agents and partners.
- Proficiency with GDS or similar booking systems, online reservation tools, and standard office software.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple group bookings simultaneously.
- Knowledge of airline fare structures, group policies, ticketing procedures, and relevant travel industry regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborating with colleagues in-office and remotely.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or travel consolidator role is strongly preferred.
- Relevant post-secondary education in travel, tourism, hospitality, business, or equivalent professional experience.
