Job Title: Corporate Travel Coordinator
Location: 5 days onsite, near UWN
Compensation: $58k-$60k+ Base Salary + (Overtime 1.5x)
Interview Process: 2 stages, phone screen, and onsite interview
Hours: 9 am-5 pm; remain accessible on weekends for emergencies (OT paid)
Start Date: ASAP
Must Haves: Must have previous travel booking experience, non-negotiable.

We are a leading Machining shop specializing in providing expert machining staff and consulting services to manufacturers across the country and internationally. Our team of highly skilled machinists and sales reps travels extensively to meet client needs. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Travel Coordinator to manage all travel logistics and ensure smooth, cost-effective arrangements for our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and Book Travel: Coordinate flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries for machinists and sales reps, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Emergency Travel Support: Be available to address last-minute changes, delays, or cancellations, including after-hours and weekends as needed.
- Expense Tracking: Manage travel-related expenses using SAP Concur or similar systems; ensure compliance with company policies.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with airlines, hotels, and rental car companies to find the best deals; establish and maintain relationships with preferred vendors.
- Heavy Machinery Logistics: Assist engineers in coordinating the shipment of heavy machinery to client facilities when necessary.
- Data Management: Maintain and update travel schedules using Excel and other tracking tools; ensure accurate record-keeping and timely updates.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all travel-related inquiries; build strong relationships with team members to understand their preferences and anticipate needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in travel coordination or a similar role; experience with SAP Concur or other travel/expense management systems preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a budget-conscious mindset.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Availability: Willingness to handle travel-related emergencies outside regular business hours.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is a plus but not required.
