Role Description
Humble Travel is looking for full-time individual with strong communication and negotiation skills as well as travel experience. This is a full-time on-site role for a Travel Advisor at Humble Travel in Cedar Falls, IA. Travel Advisors sell travel to clients and communicate in person, on the phone and via email. Must have project management skills and expertise with Microsoft Office. Prior travel experience and a passion for a travel a must.
Duties include:
- Selling travel to past and new clients in both domestic and international travel destinations
- Servicing client bookings of agency
- Ongoing office, destination, software and supplier training
- Invoicing travel sales
- Preparing travel documents for review with clients
- Advising clients during the booking process and during travel
- Collaborate and assist other team members in office
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Willingness to learn new things including CRM and GDS systems

Qualifications
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Effective Communication skills
- Experience in Travel Arrangements and Travel Agency operations (preferred, but not mandatory)

- Knowledge of international travel regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus
