Travel Coordinator

Location: Howell, MI

Reports To: CFO

CHI Aviation is seeking a Travel Coordinator to join the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for travel programs in multi company environment of 200+ active travelers.
  • Assist employees with booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and car rentals, ensuring compliance with company travel policies.
  • Utilize the Amtrav platform to efficiently manage travel bookings and reservations.
  • Manage and update traveler profiles in Amtrav.
  • Monitor and manage travel itineraries to accommodate changes or cancellations as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee travel-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Prepare and report contract travel expenses to the finance department, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines for multiple contracts.
  • Maintain and update travel policies and guidelines in collaboration with management and HR.\
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with travel-related regulations and company policies.
  • Provide regular travel expense reports and summaries to stakeholders as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Great organization skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, work in a dynamic environment, work independently and be a team player would be a great fit for this company.
  • Self-starter, with ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks assigned by various departments.
