The ideal candidate has 3-years of professional leisure travel experience in planning and arranging individual, group, and tour packages to include cruises and vacation experiences offered by a range of travel suppliers. This is a full time onsite position.
Required Experiences & Skills
- If not designated as a Certified Travel Agent (CTA) able to obtain a passing score on the Travel Agency Proficiency Test as a condition for hire. The company will sponsor the cost of this assessment for experienced candidates without this designation.
- Expertise in selling experiences to most of these destinations: Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, etc.
- Comfort and skilled in selling a range of travel experiences from small groups (such as families or affinity groups) seeking budget to high and luxury vacations.
- Certification, or qualifying experiences to achieve CLIA and Disney recognition.
- Able to commute to the worksite on a Monday - Friday schedule. No evenings or weekends.
