Host Agency Reviews (HAR) is a B2B website in the travel industry space. You can think of us as the Yelp for travel agents looking to join a parent travel agency. But we’re more than just a directory. The other side of our site is content like our popular blog, events calendar, and podcast --- our goal is to educate and provide some stellar resources to the travel industry.
And guess what? We’re looking for a passionate team member to bring on board to help with our content and marketing!
Do you want to belong to a small but successful company? Do you thrive in a remote work environment and have excellent communication skills? (It’s not for everyone.) Are you someone that’s comfortable taking ownership of their role and loves growing companies through digital marketing?
If so, we like you already. So here’s a little more about us.
We’re a team of five and we like staying small. We’re not looking to conquer the world. We like to have fun and enjoy life, while still taking tons of pride in our work. We’re known for being tops at our jobs.
There’s a lot of flexibility and room for you to put a vision into place --- which for some people is amazing and for some people it’s a nightmare. We want you to be the person that thinks it’s an amazing opportunity that lets you shine.
Want to learn more? Fabulous!
Hours
You make your own schedule and hours are flexible. That said, the team collaborates and we are a B2B company. So while you can work on solo tasks anytime, we do expect that you’re available a reasonable amount sometime during the hours of 9am - 5pm CT, Monday through Friday, for collaborative projects and communicating with our community.
Other requirements for when you need to be available? Local team members typically meet once a week for 1 hour on Mondays virtually. We have status check-in meetings on Thursdays for an hour or so.
Bottom line: If your work is completed on time, with happy people at the end, then whatever hours you want to work, work for us!
Remote Work
You can be located wherever your little heart desires… with a few exceptions.
If you are located remotely, we require you have reliable internet, can attend our Monday and Thursday video meetings and stay plugged in to Slack throughout the week, where our team communicates. We also expect that if your time zone doesn’t coincide with Central Time, that you are available a reasonable amount of time during regular Central Time business hours for communicating with our advertisers and collaborating with other team members.
Note: Our team is mostly Minneapolis-based, with one Canadian representing strong!
