Dugan’s Travels LLC

I joined Dugan's in January of 2023 and was new to the industry. They have been great for a new travel advisor such as me and have been very supportive. The training provided by the agency is extensive and prepares you to be a successful travel advisor even if you are new to the business. I have already exceeded $100k in sales in my first year and could possibly reach over $150k in sales by the end of the year. Dugans's support and training has played a large role in this. I joined Dugan's Travels in 2009 with no agent experience at all. I love to travel and was looking for something that I could do part time at first and grow into a full-time career upon my upcoming retirement. I've been with Dugan's Travels since the beginning (1999), as the very first agent to be trained and hosted. Joining the agency has been the best decision I ever made. It is a wonderful agency with a family feel. Help is available for those who are very new to the industry as well as those who are seasoned professionals. There are so many options for training both in person and online. You are never a number! Everyone on staff as well as your fellow agents are very friendly and helpful. I joined Dugan’s somewhat impulsively because I enjoyed planning travel and thought it would be a fun side hustle. I didn’t know anything about being a Travel Advisor when I started but I took advantage of training and was able to get myself started. Once I began participating in the Dugan’s U trainings I really started feeling like a professional and I also enjoyed being part of the Dugan’s Family. My business continues to grow each year, even though I am still just part-time. I have been with Dugan's Travels since I started my company in 2008. Their commission structure and annual fee is fair for the services I get, the communication is awesome, the suppliers are the highest quality, and the ability to network with over 400 agents is invaluable when I have a client who wants a trip that is not my area of expertise. Tracking commission is easy and it's direct deposit so they are fast. I would highly recommend Dugan's Travels to anyone looking to get into the travel business. However, note that they set a high bar and you have to do the training in order to become a qualified travel advisor. That training helped me become an expert on selling travel and I use that knowledge daily when searching for the best journeys at the best price for my clients.
