After 32 years as an educator, I retired and decided to start my own travel business. I did this for several reasons: I wanted to work from home, I wanted to be able to visit my grandchildren who live 20 hours+ away and still work and I wanted a flexible schedule. I did a lot of research on Host Agencies and chose Avoya Travel because they have been in business 50+ years, the professional development provided, the lead generating system and most importantly because of their core values of honesty, integrity and professionalism.

I started out with Career Quest which was excellent preparation for learning the travel business. Upon completion, I began Avoya University. The Avoya Travel team were helpful, courteous and quick to respond to my questions (I had and still have a lot). They have been very patient with me.

I have been an Avoya Travel Independent Agent for almost 6 months. I have learned so much in this amount of time and have say that I could not have asked for a better support team. Whenever I need help, including weekends, the response is quick and very helpful.

I have been so happy with my decision to join Avoya I have recruited 2 of my friends to join. Joining Avoya is one of the best decisions I have made.

I was an independent agent, no host, for 10 years. I had spent thousands of dollars on advertisement and classes/training. I was booking direct with the vendors who paid at the lower commission rate as I did not have the volume to constitute the over rides. Basically, I was all over the place and making a meager salary at best, while putting in extreme hours of work.

I first joined Avoya more than 12 years ago and after coming from a traditional Host Agency, the difference was like night and day. With the traditional Host Agency, I was finding I was spending so much time, effort and expense in marketing, advertising and trying to generate business. The income I was making, was going right back out. I've been an Avoya Travel IA for a little while now and I have say that I couldn't have asked for a better support team. Anytime I need assistance, not only is their response time quick, but the answers are right on target; and several times they have even called me to assist me with the issue.

So yes, I give Avoya Travel, as a whole 5 Stars! Best decision I could have ever made.

When I made a decision to open up my own travel agency, having a host was essential. I started with another host first and found out quickly enough that they were not what I was promised. I then moved to another host agency which was much better and was with them for about a year. Then, someone told me about Avoya Travel. This was the best move I have ever made. They do send you leads, and the web leads really do take a lot of work. I don't yet feel I am where I want to be, but I do feel the support and assistance is available to help me get there. This is not instant, overnight, get rich quick. Having said that, I think the earning potential is significant and is definitely there.
