I started off in the travel industry working with another host agency that I was not happy with and one of my friends who's also a travel agent kept telling me to give Avoya a try. I'm so glad that I gave them a try and I'm happy to still have my travel agency business affiliated with them a year later. The support that I get from Avoya especially the Early Success Team and Brand Sales Departments is extremely wonderful. I will admit when I first joined Avoya I was struggling but that's because I didn't reach out for help and once I contacted Early Success at Avoya asking them for help I went from struggling to now ending every month with at least over $2,000 commission wise. The Early Success Team is a wonderful asset that I'm very glad that Avoya has for free where as with most other host agencies they charge you for a coaching session. Avoya has opportunities where you can meet with the senior leadership team in person. Avoya even invited me to attend the naming ceremony for Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas where I got to meet so many of Avoya Senior Leadership Team in person and I even got to talk to Avoya CSO Phil Cappelli for a bit during the 3-day naming ceremony cruise to the Bahamas. The live leads program with Avoya is amazing not only are my customers from the live leads program but some of them are also referrals that I got from the leads that I claimed threw Avoya live leads program. Avoya has a long standing relationship with so many suppliers and whenever I have a question or a issue I know that Avoya support team is there to help me. I love how Avoya also has training/educational opportunities that are offered via Zoom. A lot of Avoya staff use to be IA's with Avoya so a lot of them talk from experience. Overall I'm very happy with my affiliation with Avoya and I should of went with Avoya in the first place. Now I'm actually getting ready to add agents under my license and expand my business. I also love how Avoya Early Success Department makes sure that I have goals set for myself and how they cheer me on and celebrate whenever I hit a goal.
The ongoing support provided. The feeling of "in-it together" is very real.
Avoya does every thing it can to help make us successful
I recently affiliated with Avoya and could not be happier with my decision. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism, and have previous years experience working for Marriott Hotels. But my goal was to always be a Travel Agent. After years of being a stay-at-home Mom I wanted to jump back into my field. Throughout Career Quest, Avoya University, and the creation of my LLC they have held my hand and guided me every step of the way, and continue to assist me when I have questions. I'm happy to be "On Board" with Avoya.
I can't say enough good things about Avoya. I tell potential Independant Agents that life before Avoya I was a travel agent that was wandering around going nowhere. After I joined Avoya now I'm the one going somewhere with a great network of people guiding me through the process. Avoya has made a big difference in my business and if you want to take this leap and have the drive and the passion the rewards are endless.
I really appreciate how much time and effort goes into making sure everyone succeeds. I have always enjoyed being a travel agent and having my own agency just makes sense but there is always room to grow and improve and Avoya really helps with the process. The excitement and enthusiasm everyone has rubs off on me and I can't help but be excited every day I log into work. The suggestions always work as long as I apply them. I think its just fabulous how well of an oiled machine this is.
What I love the most about Avoya is the work any where, any time aspect of it. I live in a separate state from my parents. December 2016 my Father took ill. He passed away the end of January 2017. Due to Avoya's work any where any time aspect I was able to go up and be with my Father during the illness and stay with my Mother after his passing and help take care of arrangements and still work and take care of my customers. With a sticks and bricks office I would have had to use all my vacation and sick time and possibly even go on family leave. There are other great things, but that's the biggest for me.
Love My Job!!!! Avoya has the technology and tools to enable us to succeed in a great business. Work at home, do as much or as little as you want. Your Income is your own decision. No boss looking over your shoulder. No arguments with colleagues in a cubicle next to you Create great relationships. The ability to travel. Theres more
I think one of the greatest aspects about Avoya is the cohesiveness of the Independent Agents and Avoya's mechanism to help them connect. I honestly don't think I would have made it this far without the support in the Community Forum. Avoya promotes a professional relationship among the agents, allowing new IA's like myself to learn from seasoned veterans.
As well, the support offered by the Avoya team is also simply amazing. Whether it's the Mastermind team with the opportunity to grow your knowledge, or the support personnel who work with us in ever aspect of the client or trip, everyone is top notch!
I love this company. The support, training and service is fabulous! I've just referred two other independent agents and one has joined, the other is in the process. Thanks AVOYA, exactly what I was looking for!
Although I have traveled extensively my whole life selling travel was all new to me. Avoya has been great for someone coming into this without a travel agent background. The learning & support especially since joining the Master Mind group has been key to getting me to where I am. I researched and considered a number of host agencies and am glad I chose Avoya. My advice to any new IA would be to not measure yourself by others. Although you will never stop learning there is a lot to learn just to get up to speed. Days of frustration & a large time commitment for learning is overwhelming at first but by 6 months there will be less doubt. Be patient. Also give yourself a break by not trying to learn to many vendors at once.
