Fareconnect.com Inc was established in 2003 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Fareconnect entered the market as an OTA business focussing heavily on Western Canada online sales. Over time as competition with larger OTA’s grew in this space, Fareconnect expanded into brick-and-mortar stores adding Home -Based Agents who were associated with the brick-and-mortar locations. In 2014, Fareconnect decided to restructure the company and move to a more centralized organization to support and recruit independent contractors. In 2015, Fareconnect reduced its number of stores to two locations in Medicine Hat Alberta and Winnipeg Manitoba. These stores restructured to add training and support of all IC’s, as the company transitioned to a fully functionable Host Agency. To better support its IC’s in 2019, Fareconnect consolidated all its operation to one location in Winnipeg. Fareconnect has established itself as one of the leading Host agencies in Western Canada with Agents from Newfoundland to BC.
