Executive Travel Coordinator

Location: Washington Area (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Hourly Rate: $25 - $30

Salary upon Conversion to Permanent: $58,000 - $62,000 annually

Our client, a dynamic and expanding company in the Washington area, is seeking a skilled Travel Agent to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary role to a permanent one, providing both stability and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Role Overview:

As a Travel Agent, you will be pivotal in managing travel arrangements and reservations for the company. Your expertise in hotel reservations and concierge services will ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences for employees and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Coordination: Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation. Ensure all bookings align with company policies and preferences.
  • Reservation Management: Oversee hotel reservations and other accommodations. Address any issues or changes promptly to ensure a seamless travel experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the company and service providers to resolve any concerns or requests.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of travel bookings and expenses. Prepare reports as needed to track travel-related expenditures.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating meetings or events.
  • Problem Resolution: Address travel-related issues or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency, minimizing disruptions to travel plans.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience in hotel reservations, concierge services, or a similar role is highly desirable. Familiarity with Sabre software is a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using reservation and travel management systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
