Travel/Resource Coordinator reports to the PMO Director. The Travel/Resource Coordinator will be responsible for booking travel and equipment as directed by PMO Director. The Travel/Resource Coordinator will develop best practices when booking travel and equipment and conduct research to ensure we are not overpaying for the items being booked. The Travel/Resource Coordinator has authority to perform day-to-day activities while ensuring appropriate executive management/leadership stays abreast of issues.

Duties

Essential Duties of the Position

  • Travel coordination in compliance with JTR/GSA publication when applicable.
  • Making reservations: Booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel arrangements
  • Identify and understanding employees needs and preferences.
  • Routinely researching to ensure we are paying fair prices for travel and equipment.
  • Available after hours to assist employees on travel.
  • Adjusting and handling changes that may arise before or during a trip, such as canceled flights.
  • Maintain the Corporate travel accounts.
  • Corporate Rewards Programs, etc…
  • Assist personnel on their expense report as needed.
  • Coordinate with employee on required documents, such as passports and visas, and complying with entry/exit requirements.
  • Willingness to work in a highly competitive collaborative atmosphere within in a team
  • All other projects/duties as assigned

Required Knowledge And Skills

  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must possess ability to work independently with ongoing changes in priority.

Associate’s degree or 2 or more years of administrative level experience in a related field. Must have skills in problem solving and analysis. Must be customer/client focused and be able to manage projects in a timely manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must be able to obtain a security clearance of secret eligibility.
