  • Manage all aspects of event planning by leading and/or supporting department VP, and internal Customers. This includes destination research, onsite Program management, and vendor sourcing. This also includes developing, implementing and maintaining online registration and mobile apps based on program and customer needs. Onsite program management involves designing, planning, managing and executing all aspects of an event for multiple Cameron companies. Those companies include but not limited to American Fidelity Corporation, American Fidelity Assurance, American Public Life, First Financial Group, INSURICA, Cameron Ventures, First Fidelity Bank, American Fidelity Bermuda and Family Office.
  • Nurture and build relationships with highest level of company executives and board members in the organizations and company owners ensuring their expectations are being exceeded.
  • Lead on the creation of program agendas, budgets, taxation documents, destination research, vendor souring, timelines, onsite program management according to customer requirements. This also includes developing and maintaining applicable program records, financial details and all relevant correspondence, Ensure that all programs are in compliance with legal, insurance, health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills Of Ideal Candidate

  • 10 years of work experience required
  • Work in travel related or hospitality industry, as a planner, coordinator, hotel sales/event planning or in destination management company operations
  • Ability to work and communicate with peers, vendors
  • Ability to work and communicate with top level executives and Board of Directors within all Cameron Companies and Owner/Family.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Be a good leader and mentor to team and ability to work in team environment

  • Remain current with trends in the industry such as event planning, design and production, online event management software, mobile apps, etc. Ability to be a support tool on these items within the department.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Microsoft office applications including Word and Excel, Microsoft Office applications, Cvent registration system, Crowd Compass mobile application software, Adobe
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analysis and interpretation skills
  • Ability to develop, maintain and analyze budget reports and tax spreadsheets
  • Ability to work in collaboration with web designers and ability to extract data from web resources
  • Flexible to meet and support Customers’ daily needs
  • Ability to think long term (some projects conclude three to five years from inception)
  • Ability to perform many tasks and work on several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues and/or conflict Knowledge of internal accounting procedures, incentive trip taxation documents and budget preparation procedures
  • Ability to travel extensively; overnight travel can be up to 40% of work year and on-site work hours can exceed 12-15 hours a day
