I'm a homebase Travel agent since 2018 with TravelOnly. They are a family owned business. I didn't have any experience as a travel advisor. I was looking for a travel compagny who could offer me training and the Opportunity to let me grow my compagny at my rythme. TravelOnly was the compagny that offer me what i was looking for.
I work the hours i want (2nd job), lots of diffrents training - live or online, marketing tools, booking system that give my accès to many travel compagnies. A portal where I can interact with other agents and track commissions.

I've been working as a Travel Agent for one year now, working Part Time. This company has a true family feel to it with, with active participation from all other TA's across the company and ownership as well. The training they provide is very well thought through with people available to help you out with pretty well anything. No pressure sales, and help from everyone makes this company a great place to work.

I started with TravelOnly about a couple of months ago. No experience in the industry, just a dream of travel, and couldn't be happier! The support given from head office is just great, and the training is ongoing. TravelOnly has given me all the tools to set me up for success! Overall TravelOnly provides a lot of resources to learn about the industry but it is very self-taught oriented with occasional events and webinars. It is a supportive community, where people support your questions and I am still very much in the learning phase of just knowing what resources are available to me. It has been a steep learning curve!

My main recommendation is to have training sessions that are a bit more geared towards different levels or tiers of experience. Theres been many times as a new team member I have sat thought the same "how toos" without truly learning the functionality of the program or supplier. Ultimately I feel like TravelOnly has a lot to offer as a host agency, but it could use some work on organization of learning materials and even start up communications about available resources (such as functionalities, marketing opportunities, of the website or client based management systems) so that new agents know what training to look up in order to learn more about their burning questions!

TravelOnly is a good Host Agency, response times to questions asked is generally quick, and head office is easy to talk to. A few more support staff, I feel would be beneficial at times, as I feel some of the head office team is spread fairly thin. Better regular maintenance on the supplier pages, with a date as to when it was last edited, would be helpful as well. Something else that would be helpful, would be better way to manage group space between agents. These are things I feel they are working on, but overall they listen to their agents, and try to make improvements for the future.

I started with TravelOnly in 2019. TravelOnly has offered training and assistance to help with growing my business. Experience agents are always willing to answer questions. It truly is a feeling of family.
TravelOnly is always upgrading their systems to assist in the easy of invoicing and booking.

TravelOnly is an excellent company to work for. Great support and fellow agents that are more than willing to help.
