I think the vendor you mentioned falls in the latter category. You are free to work with them under our credentials once you're an agent with us with a few caveats: 1) Most specialty packages can be booked under one of our existing preferred suppliers, 2) You are on your own if something goes wrong with a vendor with whom we have no history, and 3) You are responsible for vetting the vendor as required by the fiduciary nature of your role as a travel agent.

Airline and hotel status programs, on the other hand, are generally applicable by applying the appropriate code to the booking after the initial reservation is made.
