When I decided to enter the industry as a travel agent the most important qualities that I looked for in a host agency were thorough training and top-notch support. I've always liked working with OTN but in the last few years I've really come to LOVE my association with OTN. When I retired early from Corporate Marketing, I decided that becoming a Travel Advisor would be a great transition. I started to do my research on Host Agencies as I knew nobody else in the business so Host Agency Reviews was a valuable source. Oasis appealed to me in the beginning along with a couple others but I kept coming back to Oasis due to the fact I could earn commission as soon as I started my courses. Their fees seemed to be more than fair and I noticed that many members had been in their Agency for years. As I continued my homework, I was impressed with the fact that the CEO started out over 40 years ago with his own Agency. During the pandemic I switched over to another Host Agency due to their AMEX backing but came back quickly to Oasis because their software and support were far superior. Oasis seems to be extremely supportive of it's members because they are constantly creating new ways to keep Members engaged from interesting conferences to educational venues. There are several webinars a day from their list of preferred suppliers so you never feel that information is out of reach. I also like their closed Facebook Group because it's professional and members help each other with questions, so you can always bounce off a idea or statement from someone like yourself. I have also met other Travel Advisors who I have enjoyed keeping in touch with and I looked forward to see again at future Oasis conferences. If you want to concentrate more on selling Travel and less on red tape, Oasis is hands down for YOU!
