Position Overview

Experience an exciting, fast-paced career all from your home. As an Elite Travel Advisor you will deliver superior, high-touch customer service to Adelman’s premier clientele. Transcend the standard travel relationship by building personalized professional relationships with our VIP travelers and utilizing cutting-edge technology to create unique travel solutions. Seeking individuals able and willing to work until 8:00 p.m. CDT, Monday to Friday.

How you’ll “move the needle”

• Leverage omnichannel methods to book travel plans for Adelman’s premier clients.
• Actively create and maintain in depth traveler profiles. Go above and beyond and treat everyone like a VIP.
• Review all travel arrangements with the client and take a consultative approach. Thoroughly document all relevant information.
• Utilize industry-leading reservation and ticketing technologies to optimize travel costs and timing.
• Convey expert-level international travel requirements to travelers.

Ideal experience and talent

• Five plus years experience as a professional corporate travel consultant.
• Three plus years experience arranging travel for VIP’s or high-level executives.
• Proven proficiency in any GDS system, SABRE preferred
• Strong ability to effectively utilize omnichannel technologies.
• Aptitude to learn and adapt to new and ever-changing industry products and technology.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand customer needs to create exceptional experiences.
• Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with a wide variety of personalities.
• Familiarity with online booking tools such as Concur, GetThere or Deem.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, with a focus on attention to detail.

Adelman Travel offers a comprehensive benefit package such as medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance as well as a generous paid time off program and 401(k) plan with company match. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Corporate Travel Consultant is between $24.00 and $30.00. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
