All I can say is WOW! I'm BRAND spanking new agent. I chose TPI for a few reasons over a few other agencies...the main reason was the support that was apparant. As a new agent, I'm overwhelmed. Still. Yet, I feel the support and the understanding from everyone, to get me on track to making sales.
The CRM system will be amazing once I get it up and running. I can't wait to update this review in 2 months. I feel I haven't touched the surface on what I can do with TPI as my support. Go ROCKSTARS
I have been with TPI for 4 years and I can say no one is perfect, but they are great to work with.
They are there when you need them and they leave you alone not like some host agencies I know call you to see how much you are making for them.
I like the commission structure they have great affiliates and great employees for your assistance.
I have been in the cruise industry for more than 25 years in several capacities. I started out selling cruises with two of the largest pioneer cruise discount agencies; South Florida Cruises and Goldcoast! After working for approximately a dozen or so years in their storefront agencies I decided to try working from home with a host agency. I have changed host agencies through the years but happily finally found the best one; Travel Planners International, where I continue all these years later.
In between all of this I have also been at sea for more than a year of my life having been on 65 cruises and even worked on The S/S Independence cruise ship in Hawaii for one rotation, as well as working in administrative posisitions in agencies, a cruise line and a host franchise agency. So I feel I know the cruise business pretty well! Top that off with the fact that I have lived in 5 of the major cruise port cities of the world, (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami area, Tampa area, St. Thomas, U.S.Virgin Island and Honolulu, Hawaii,) it has enabled me to inspect as many ships has I have sailed.
After having been with several host agencies, including the infamous JOYSTAR where I lost the largest group commission of my career just after they filed for bankruptcy, I thankfully found Travel Planners International. What a refreshing class act to find a host that is knowledgable, has clout and offers ongoing education, GREAT customer service and reasonable plans. Don't hesitate to go with the best... TPI!

Having been in the industry for almost 40 years, when I started my business 8 years ago, my background was International Lead Agent at a large agency. Coming from the CORPORATE Travel World, TPI made the transition into leisure travel smooth and comfortable. There is not one person at TPI who has not been helpful, I have everything I need to serve my clients. I tried Nexion as well, never giving up my membership with TPI, for about two years, but found that I prefer Travel Partners international, and never made a booking through Nexion. I find the TPI system much more convenient and smooth, and I feel like I am part of a family with TPI..
