I joined The Travel Agent Next Door in 2022 as a brand new agent to the industry. I feel so encouraged and supported by everyone I've been in contact with so far. I have been with The Travel Agent Next door for only a couple of months. I am extremely impressed with the company, The support they give is amazing and the staff that you receive the call from are very very helpful and never make you feel as if you are "putting them out" or "disturbing them". They make you feel important no matter what your question and that no question is unimportant and believe me, even though I was an agent with another company, I have a lot of questions. Receiving a call from Flemming was a highlight as well, from what other company have you received a call from the founder of the company, again making you feel important and appreciated! After taking a hiatus from 7+ years in the industry, I was uncertain about joining again. A friend in the industry recommended TTAND to me and it was definitely the right choice! Joining was a seamless transition, the systems in place make it so easy to get back in the groove of things and support is amazing. Seven years and counting now with TTAND. I was in retail travel prior to selecting The Travel Agent Next Door as our host agency. I have worked in the travel business since 2008. I first started as an Independent Agent 7 months pre covid with another Host Agency. I truly knew no difference until I had so much time on my hands during covid and began to look at other options. A light bulb moment occurred to me one day when I reached out to my previous host and asked if there was a game plan for how we as a team would hit the ground running once we made it thru covid. Or were we offering any support to fellow agents during these rough times. I had questions and was prepared to offer solutions if they were invited. I wanted a website and was told no you can’t have one yet other agent were running websites. It took 7 clicks to locate me if a potential client was looking for me. I was asking for time to discuss these pertinent issues. I set up a meeting with the Host Owner and was told by her second in command I had 10 minutes to present my offering and ask questions. At that point it was very clear to me that my business was of very little importance to that host.
Then I found TTAND.
I sent an inquiry email to TTAND and set up an eye opener meeting with Founder Flemming Friisdahl.
We were on different time zones, yet Flemming did not flinch at a late evening appointment. My questions were met with professional and caring responses. I recall thinking to myself can this really be the real deal. It has now been 2 years and 9 months and let me tell you TTAND IS THE REAL DEAL!

The support offered from TTAND at all levels by far has exceeded every expectation.
