I was with a previous host agency for 7 years and had to fight to receive almost every dime I earned. So many excuses and delays and lack of Head Office support. My previous agency may have been around for 25+ years but their services took a nosedive during covid and never bounced back.
Because of this I decided to leave and joined TTAND about a year and a half ago and I can't begin to express how happy I am to have switched host agencies.
TTAND works WITH their Agents by providing prompt immediate support; you can make a call and speak to someone immediately or put in a support ticket if you don't need immediate action.
The Founder is just an email or phone call away, always! He has even taken my calls while sitting at an airport! How is that for support and caring for his agents?
TTAND walks walk you through everything if you are unfamiliar or have questions.
The difference in host agencies is like night and day! I'm so glad I made the switch and wish I had done it sooner!
I joined TTAND a few years ago. Frankly I was surprised by the support they give us and how it is delivered. They are continually updating systems, education and tools for us to use. They have proven to be leaders in this industry. Just look at their track record and growth. They work hard with industry partners to give us the right connections. I could not be happier to be part of this organization. If you're looking for a host agency I recommend having a chat with Flemming. I'm sure you will be glad you did.
I joined The Travel Agent Next Door in 2018 as a newer agent to the industry. From day one I have felt encouraged and supported by everyone on our team. The continued training and support is excellent. How often do you hear from your head office "What can we do for you?" The entire team across the country is unmatched. The team is so approachable and provides personal attention when you need it. The agent website is continually updated with information and resources. I feel very fortunate to have found such a positive community in which to work and live my dream as a certified travel agent - and yes they helped me get certified and supported me the whole way! Take the leap - I'm glad I did!

It is because of the TTAND team I can continue to support my clients, reach new clients and have a much better business life. I am now a Certified Travel Agent and have grown my business in ways I only dreamed of. All because I made the leap to a great agency! People tend to tell you what they think you want to hear. I have been an agent with The Travel Agent Next Door since 2016, when I switched host agencies. it's always hard to make changes, but it was the best decision - ever! When I speak to other travel agents who are unhappy with their current host, the most common response is that they don't like change.. it's too overwhelming.. the idea of switching agencies scares them! They are not alone we all felt that way. When I switched to the Travel Agent Next Door, it was like a breath of fresh air. I previously felt alone, unheard and like I just didn't matter. It doesn't matter how little or how much sales you bring in, you count at the Travel Agent Next Door. You feel included, you feel supported. We have been with TTAND for over 5 years, having changed from another host agency, and haven't looked back. The support department is the best, always respectful. With head office/Flemming/Rhonda/Penny's support and encouragement, we have had our best year ever, and look forward to many more years.
I have been with The Travel Agent Next Door for almost 5 years. The support office is the best, always available, always answering your questions, never making you feel that you're a bother or silly for asking. Over Covid, I couldn't believe the support and help that we received from Flemming, Rhonda, Penny and all the head office staff. Every email was read and answered, and even though we all suffered with our businesses, I felt that the agents came first, that no matter what was going on, they had our backs. Now that travel is coming back, we've been able to hit the ground running with more training, more support, and more confidence thanks to the ongoing help from the support and head office team.
Thank you Flemming, Rhonda and Penny and all the head office staff for all your help through the most difficult times, and we're looking forward to the future with The Travel Agent Next Door.

Flemming makes it a point to call and talk to each primary agent at least every 6 months, and I am welcome to call him if I need to! The support that is given to agents is amazing! I have not been made to feel that I'm an inconvenience when I ask a question of the support staff, no matter how silly it may sound. During this Covid-19, Flemming, Rhonda and Penny and the head office staff have gone out of their way to help us agents feel supported, and healthy and happy, even though everyone is so stressed. I have never worked for a company (both in and ouside of the industry) that makes me feel more welcome and appreciated as The Travel Agent Next Door does. Here's to many more productive years for our team!

I joined TTAND in 2023 after leaving another travel agency. I cannot believe the difference between the two companies. TTAND has exceptional learning capabilities for all members. My primary agent is second to none!! She is always there when you need her. Everyone makes you feel like family. xo
I joined Travel Agent Next Door about 13 months ago. I'd previously been with an Expedia Franchise. I'm with Beyond Land and Sea Travel. This is owned and managed by Deborah Clark. I can say without reservation that I'm happy with the change. I find I get great and prompt support. The "parent booking platform" TTAND, is big but not huge, and therefore with my Agent Partner and TTAND I'm enjoying myself and am only looking forward to good things.
I started in the travel industry in 2019. Found that I continually search for a company that I could count of for assistance and training. In 2023, I was blessed by being introduced to The Travel Agency Next Door. I joined them in 2023, I snow have a great team to work with and The Travel Agency Next Door is there to assist and help with questions, training ha been great and on going daily. I started in the travel industry in what I consider the fun years...the 70's! Yes travel was easy, travel was fun, travel was inexpensive, and I loved every minute of it. Times have changed and especially now, with Covid19 hitting us worldwide. Although we have been hit hard, the head office of The Travel Agent Next Door has kept us informed on the position of the company, how this affects us and what we can expect moving forward. Yes we would all love a crystal ball, however, that is not being realistic. But the folks at TTAND (The Travel Agent Next Door) are keeping it real and keeping us informed constantly. Do your due diligence if you are looking to be a home based travel consultant and I am sure you will agree with me that TTAND is 5 Star all the way. Looking forward to getting past this pandemic and on to what we all love...booking travel, and travelling and I am so glad TTAND is in my back pocket to help me all the way! Happy Trails!
