I joined TTAND a few years ago. Frankly I was surprised by the support they give us and how it is delivered. They are continually updating systems, education and tools for us to use. They have proven to be leaders in this industry. Just look at their track record and growth. They work hard with industry partners to give us the right connections. I could not be happier to be part of this organization. If you're looking for a host agency I recommend having a chat with Flemming. I'm sure you will be glad you did.
I joined The Travel Agent Next Door in 2018 as a newer agent to the industry. From day one I have felt encouraged and supported by everyone on our team. The continued training and support is excellent. How often do you hear from your head office "What can we do for you?" The entire team across the country is unmatched. The team is so approachable and provides personal attention when you need it. The agent website is continually updated with information and resources. I feel very fortunate to have found such a positive community in which to work and live my dream as a certified travel agent - and yes they helped me get certified and supported me the whole way! Take the leap - I'm glad I did!

I have been an agent with The Travel Agent Next Door since 2016, when I switched host agencies. it's always hard to make changes, but it was the best decision - ever! The Travel Agent Next Door offers incredible support and marketing resources. I have experienced more financial growth with them, that I ever thought was possible. When I speak to other travel agents who are unhappy with their current host, the most common response is that they don't like change.. it's too overwhelming.. the idea of switching agencies scares them! They are not alone we all felt that way. When I switched to the Travel Agent Next Door, it was like a breath of fresh air. I previously felt alone, unheard and like I just didn't matter. It doesn't matter how little or how much sales you bring in, you count at the Travel Agent Next Door. You feel included, you feel supported. For every concern you have in making the move, there are at least 3 solutions to whatever is causing your current dissatisfaction. We have been with TTAND for over 5 years, having changed from another host agency, and haven't looked back. The support department is the best, always respectful. With head office/Flemming/Rhonda/Penny's support and encouragement, we have had our best year ever, and look forward to many more years.
I have been with The Travel Agent Next Door for almost 5 years. The support office is the best, always available, always answering your questions, never making you feel that you're a bother or silly for asking. Over Covid, I couldn't believe the support and help that we received from Flemming, Rhonda, Penny and all the head office staff. Every email was read and answered, and even though we all suffered with our businesses, I felt that the agents came first, that no matter what was going on, they had our backs. Now that travel is coming back, we've been able to hit the ground running with more training, more support, and more confidence thanks to the ongoing help from the support and head office team.

Flemming makes it a point to call and talk to each primary agent at least every 6 months, and I am welcome to call him if I need to! The support that is given to agents is amazing! I have not been made to feel that I'm an inconvenience when I ask a question of the support staff, no matter how silly it may sound. During this Covid-19, Flemming, Rhonda and Penny and the head office staff have gone out of their way to help us agents feel supported, and healthy and happy, even though everyone is so stressed. I have never worked for a company (both in and ouside of the industry) that makes me feel more welcome and appreciated as The Travel Agent Next Door does. Here's to many more productive years for our team!

I joined TTAND in 2023 after leaving another travel agency. I cannot believe the difference between the two companies. TTAND has exceptional learning capabilities for all members. My primary agent is second to none!! She is always there when you need her. Everyone makes you feel like family. xo
I joined Travel Agent Next Door about 13 months ago. I'd previously been with an Expedia Franchise. I'm with Beyond Land and Sea Travel. This is owned and managed by Deborah Clark. I can say without reservation that I'm happy with the change. I find I get great and prompt support. The "parent booking platform" TTAND, is big but not huge, and therefore with my Agent Partner and TTAND I'm enjoying myself and am only looking forward to good things.
I started in the travel industry in 2019. Found that I continually search for a company that I could count of for assistance and training. In 2023, I was blessed by being introduced to The Travel Agency Next Door. I joined them in 2023, I snow have a great team to work with and The Travel Agency Next Door is there to assist and help with questions, training ha been great and on going daily. I started in the travel industry in what I consider the fun years...the 70's! Yes travel was easy, travel was fun, travel was inexpensive, and I loved every minute of it. Times have changed and especially now, with Covid19 hitting us worldwide. Although we have been hit hard, the head office of The Travel Agent Next Door has kept us informed on the position of the company, how this affects us and what we can expect moving forward. Yes we would all love a crystal ball, however, that is not being realistic. But the folks at TTAND (The Travel Agent Next Door) are keeping it real and keeping us informed constantly. Do your due diligence if you are looking to be a home based travel consultant and I am sure you will agree with me that TTAND is 5 Star all the way. Looking forward to getting past this pandemic and on to what we all love...booking travel, and travelling and I am so glad TTAND is in my back pocket to help me all the way! Happy Trails!
TheTravelAgentNextDoor as my host agency continues to be the best business decision ever. The ability to work with a Primary Agent to sort out the many challenges in the travel industry is one of its best features but there are a multitude of other ways in which Flemming and the TTAND staff work to make our job as rewarding as possible. Simply the best.
Oct 2022, I stand behind every word of my previous review. TheTravelAgentNextDoor is truly an exceptional host agency for an agent at any level of experience. The support staff at Head Office are without compare. Flemming Friisdahl & Penny Martin are so experienced and connected in the travel industry; both have the mission of support support support to agents' needs. And my senior travel agent, Coreen Doucet, well, words are not adequate; she is beyond amazing. A hearty thanks to those in TTAND who make the systems more capable and this work more enjoyable.
The very best host agency. It's Day vs Night compared with the other host agency whee I received next to no support from the Head Office. I work as an associate agent and provide a percentage of my commission to a senior agent in order to have coverage during my personal travel and to avoid some independent agent administration; it works perfectly for me as my senior agent is superb. As well, the mutual support freely provided by fellow TTAND agents on the facebook group pages is amazing. Can't recommend TTAND any higher.
One of the best business decisions I ever made was to join TheTravelAgentNextDoor.
TTAND puts the agent needs first, in fact, they often identifying and resolving a need before the agent even realized that "this" would make life easier. Everything to facilitate booking, paperwork, followup and more is taken into consideration, including how to best reward & pay the travel agent using win/win math to come to the best possible way forward. Much is due to the personal experience Flemming and Penny themselves have on the front line of selling travel -- both are simply amazing people in their own right.
Could not be happier with my host agency and my senior agent; I LOVE that they have a vehicle by which I can be an associate and thus ignore the website and other requirements that use up my very precious hours.
I spent 5 years with another host agency so have grounds for comparison.
