Largay Travel is an amazing host agency. "Host" is not strong enough a word as Largay Travel is more of a supportive family. They provide all the tools necessary to grow and maintain one's business. Nothing is static. They are always on the hunt to do things faster, easier, better.....I count myself lucky and blessed when I start work each day under the Largay umbrella.
I have worked with Largay Travel for over 10 years. They are an amazing host agency. They provide tremendous opportunities for learning and growth. First and foremost, they are ethical and kind. I know they will have my back. During this pandemic, they have been proactively worked on technology and mechanisms for current and future growth. How furtunate that I have hooked my star to them.
My journey with Largay Travel began with the guidance of a trusted friend who was also my travel advisor, who then became my mentor through the fantastic educational program Largay Travel offers to aspiring industry professionals. The Largay team held my hand and taught me everything I needed to know to become a successful travel advisor. And the assistance does not end when you graduate. From management to the in-house staff to the phenomenal family of IC's, there is always someone available and willing to help. There is an extraordinary energy among the Largay family and an endless stream of shared knowledge. The Largay reputation is well respected throughout the travel industry and continues to prosper under the skillful leadership of Paul, Amanda, and their management team. I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to be affiliated with such a wonderful organization!
I joined Largay in 1998 working as a Corporate Agent. Switch over to leisure and when I thought I was ready to retire Paul asked if I would consider being an independent Contractor. Best decision I ever made... that was in 2009....
and still going strong. Thank you Paul for giving me the opportunity.
From the first phone call I had with Paul to now I've been happy with Largay Travel. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. They are very well respected in the travel industry, Virtuoso community and with suppliers. Everyone loves Largay! They do a great job with the mentor process. They really care about us and our success. Amanda and the team are always looking for ways to grow and ways to make our lives better and easier. I so appreciate them and working with them. We are a happy family.
I have previously written a review on how much I love Largay Travel, but I would like to add that they have blown me away with how they are handling the Covid Pandemic. They have been supportive, proactive in setting up a Virtual Retreat for us to attend in lieu of not being able to meet in person and with multiple trainings, hosted dance parties during the shut down to elevate our spirits, hosted Mediation Mondays (which will be an ongoing program) to help manage stress levels, hosted Water Cooler Wednesdays (which will now be an ongoing program) for us to connect and talk. They are constantly thinking of ways to grow and help support the Independent Contractors. I don't know any other company who goes to all of these levels to help with our well beings and professional development during these trying times. Kudos to Largay!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Largay Travel! I've spent the last 10 years traveling the world as a Corporate Flight Attendant. When I wanted to make a career switch, I decided on starting a travel company, but knew I wanted to be part of Virtuoso. Hence, the need to look for a host agency! After interviewing with 3 Virtuoso agencies, I knew Largay was the right fit. It is a decision that I continue to feel so happy about. They are genuine, sympathetic, kind, full of personality, inspirational and efficient. I couldn't ask for more in a host agency! They are working hard to make sure they are providing us with all of the right tools to be the best travel advisors we can be. They are all about learning and growing our businesses together and I love that. I feel proud and lucky to be part of Team Largay! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I made the decision to start with Largay in 2019, and graduated from their mentoring program March 30, 2020. I thought to myself, what I am I getting myself into - when the world was shutting down, I was ready to spread my wings and start selling travel. The management team was quick to support my new collegues with everything going on, while offering me the support emotionally and professionally to learn. In July 2022 I was able to quit a 16 year career and devote my time to MY business and Largay Travel. Everyone from management, staff and other IC's helped me and guided me so that I could reach my goals. The culture of Largay is one that encourages support and family, all while having fun. Business is business and they are there to support me every step of the way for that too.
I recently joined Largay in April 2023 after the briefest stint with another host agency. Prior to making the leap into travel, I had been a stay at home mom for 26 years to 5 kids with a small, part-time business teaching group fitness 3 days a week. My #1 fear regarding launching a successful travel advising career revolved around not being provided with adequate training or support by the host agency. As soon as I met the amazing leadership at Largay, I immediately knew the support they offer is the BEST of the BEST! Deeply rooted in the origins of Luxury Travel, Largay offers the utmost in long-standing relationships with suppliers and partners and provides the superlative in training and guidance to each and everyone on the Largay Team - regardless of the role a person plays. Every step of the way, no question has been too insignificant. I have never been made to feel like a burden and the tools they provide ensure my IMMEDIATE success. From my dear mentor, to the head of the hosting program to marketing and IT support, to the INCREDIBLE example Paul and Amanda set walking the walk and showing up EVERY. DAY. for everyone at Largay, Largay Travel as a host agency surpasses any level of assistance one might think he or she needs. As I travel around the world, Largay's reputation precedes me and grants me instant credibility associated with being a part of such a premier agency . Upon meeting anyone with knowledge of the travel industry, immediate recognition is given to the excellent reputation and quality of service Largay provides. Largay is admired by all fortunate enough to work in travel and those of us who work with Largay know this first hand. I can't express enough how blissful and joyful I am to be connected to Largay. Largay Travel is an amazing company and host agency. I can't say enough about them! They are there for their agents whenever we need support. I use their air department every day and now they have upgraded their flight department to be 24/7 assistance!! How great is that? We have weekly "town halls" where we can ask questions, hear the latest in travel industry news, share our travels and our concerns and successes and connect with all the other advisors as well. Our yearly retreat is a hoot and very informative complete with costumes, balloons and great fun and wonderful training opportunities and the chance to connect with directors of sales for hotels, tour companies, cruises and more. Paul and Amanda and Melissa and Scott and Vira and Lori and Richard are incredible professionals and will drop everything if a situation comes up where we need a helping hand. I am so happy to have them as my support and backup in this crazy environment of the travel industry. They are fantastic resources and I feel very lucky to have chosen Largay Travel.
Largay Travel is absolutely the best host agency! Amanda Klimak is the energizer bunny with so much energy to give on projects designed to help Largay's agents at all times and in all ways. She and Paul Largay (Dr. Travel) run a fantastic agency and we can't say enough about all they do to make sure we all are successful together and having fun along the way. When the pandemic hit, they sprung into action even more and were there for each of us to help navigate this difficult time coming up with ways to sell domestic travel and helping our moods with Meditation Mondays, Watercooler Wednesdays and Disco Fridays dance nights. I haven't even begun to tell you about their spectacular retreats! The staff at Largay is a fantastic team and we are lucky to be a part of their agency.
In my 13 year with Largay Travel and still loving it! Largay Travel is family to me. All my colleagues are so helpful, fun and supportive. We all encourage and assist each other. Largay Travel has a wonderful support staff that have a goal to make us succeed. I am grateful that Largay is my host family and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Coming from the hospitality world I had always wanted to pursue a career in travel. When I met Amanda and Paul that career began. They took a chance on me and I have never looked back. They put me with their top advisors so I could learn from the best. I am coming up on my 10 year anniversary with Largay Travel and I have never been happier. I've been a travel advisor for 25 years, the last 3 as an independent contractor with Largay Travel. I can not say enough good things about this company. It is
a family. All the support from Paul, Amanda and the entire Largay team was important and appreciated in the past, but now with all the disruption in the travel industry it is amazing to see how they have stepped up what I thought could not have been improved on. I can't imagine weathering this storm without my Largay family.
I joined Largay from a different career background and they provided an amazing training program to help me learn how to do this new job in this new industry. Right from the start, I have been amazed at their level of support for their travel advisory and I really appreciate their positive enthusiasm! Largay was the perfect place to start my new career in the travel industry. They provide a training program that they created to help newcomers like me learn the business and then provide us with all of the tools and support we need to get our careers off the ground. They continue to help with all of our back office needs and are very willing to help in any way to enable us to be successful in our jobs. In addition, they are an incredibly fun and warm group of people who you enjoy working with and make you instantly feel "part of the family". I highly recommend Largay to anyone considering a host agency for their travel business!
