I have just been accepted to become a FORA Travel Agent but I am from the UK. Is there any information in the training regarding working alongside the specific restrictions of the UK and/or ATOL and ABTA protection from FORA?
Will the Fora training provide location specific training as it pertains to standing up a business. (Ie. BC, Can is slightly different than Ontario.)
Additionally I've read E&O insurance is primarily for US based advisors. Is there a Canadian equivalent?
Can you sign up on the quarterly plan and then adjust to the annual plan?
Is FORA friendly to booking cruises and resorts? I am a wedding planner looking into this as an addition for honeymoon planning.
Do you accept entry level agents? If so, how to proceed?
If not, are there other opportunities for training? Thanks!
