I started off in the travel industry working with another host agency that I was not happy with and one of my friends who's also a travel agent kept telling me to give Avoya a try. I'm so glad that I gave them a try and I'm happy to still have my travel agency business affiliated with them a year later. The support that I get from Avoya especially the Early Success Team and Brand Sales Departments is extremely wonderful. I will admit when I first joined Avoya I was struggling but that's because I didn't reach out for help and once I contacted Early Success at Avoya asking them for help I went from struggling to now ending every month with at least over $2,000 commission wise. The Early Success Team is a wonderful asset that I'm very glad that Avoya has for free where as with most other host agencies they charge you for a coaching session. Avoya has opportunities where you can meet with the senior leadership team in person. Avoya even invited me to attend the naming ceremony for Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas where I got to meet so many of Avoya Senior Leadership Team in person and I even got to talk to Avoya CSO Phil Cappelli for a bit during the 3-day naming ceremony cruise to the Bahamas. The live leads program with Avoya is amazing not only are my customers from the live leads program but some of them are also referrals that I got from the leads that I claimed threw Avoya live leads program. Avoya has a long standing relationship with so many suppliers and whenever I have a question or a issue I know that Avoya support team is there to help me. I love how Avoya also has training/educational opportunities that are offered via Zoom. A lot of Avoya staff use to be IA's with Avoya so a lot of them talk from experience. Overall I'm very happy with my affiliation with Avoya and I should of went with Avoya in the first place. Now I'm actually getting ready to add agents under my license and expand my business. I also love how Avoya Early Success Department makes sure that I have goals set for myself and how they cheer me on and celebrate whenever I hit a goal.
When I decided I wanted to start my own travel agency, I turned to host agency reviews and did extensive research. I started the recruiting process with Avoya Travel. I was impressed with the reviews and the fact that they are affiliated with American Express. Throughout the onboarding process, I became more and more impressed with what they had to offer.
Any time I had questions, my recruiter responded. At one point, the Vice President of the company called to welcome me aboard. I immediately went through the courses with CLIA, and then began Avoya University where I learned best practices for using their system and working with live leads.
The live leads are an amazing part of their system. No more marketing, buying facebook ads or bothering your friends. I have met people from all over the world who I never would have had the opportunity to sell to without our leads.
I have been with Avoya for about 60 days now. I set high goals for my first 30 days and using the system and the offered live leads I sold twice as much as I thought I would. I am brand new to travel and because I am with Avoya and do everything they suggest, I know I will meet or surpass my goals for the year. I cannot say enough good things about the support and tools with this company.
I love working with Avoya. They are always there to help. Avoya University is great and will teach you everything you need to know. Live leads are wonderful and great for someone who is homebased Agent. I wouldn't trade them for anyone else. Most important, they have great reputation among Vendors!
The supports and the leads we get are crucial to me having a successful business. Leads can sometimes be a lot of looking and not booking but I am still new so I just keep moving forward. It really is not a race for me but a process to learn my clients and have them become customers that will return time and time again.
Avoya is a company with integrity and I appreciate Avoya's support team to its agents!
I started with Avoya in March of 2018. When I first started with Avoya everything was great, the support was amazing. However as time progressed the support became very minimal. I left the company and advised them I had leads that needed to be taken care of and they left the clients hanging with no contact, I had let me clients no I was no longer part of the Avoya team. When I reached out to them they advised me everything would be taken care of. Nothing was done. They left the customers hanging and their agent support team is extremely rude, and does not help. If you want the support I would definitely no go to Avoya.

My whole reason for staying with Avoya is its core values. Integrity and Professionalism. When a business is run with that value system all other aspects fall into place.
With AP everything is right out in front of you. I do not use "Live Leads" (as you know), but think that someone new to the industry would find the feature invaluable. I've been around for a long time and have rarely been disappointed! I especially like that I am permitted to "do my own thing!"
