Job Details
- USA-based position
- No outbound or cold calling, all inbound contacts
- Full Time including a rotating Saturday shift every other week
- 12pm to 8pm shift available. Saturday shift is always 8a-4p. Includes a shift differential of $3/hour for nights and weekends
- Starting salary $19 to $20 per hour based on experience

About the role
We are looking for diverse candidates to join our U.S.-based travel insurance team to grow their professional career or learn a new career path. We handle incoming calls and emails from Canadian travelers who are interested in learning about our products that may result in an insurance quote or policy sale. You will learn a consultative selling approach to identify traveler’s needs and recommend an appropriate product to protect their upcoming travel. The candidate will educate customers on what travel insurance is along with the benefits and coverages of the products designed to support the client’s unique travel plans. Most importantly we provide an excellent customer experience to our clients by answering inquiries quickly with a high degree of professionalism, quality and accuracy.
What we are looking for
Key qualities that we are seeking include:
A record of providing outstanding customer service (1+ years preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Core computer knowledge and strong typing skills
Must be able to obtain a Canadian Accident & Sickness license to sell insurance within 6 months of hire, in order to hold and keep this position. All license training and fees are company-sponsored
Fluent English with bilingual French-speakers highly encouraged
International travel and geography knowledge a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent required
