GTC has provided amazing opportunities for the growth of my business. Lots of personal development tools and with such large buying power, it's allowed me make money on more things which may have previously been non-commissionable. The contracts are very robust resulting in increased profitability. Support is plentiful and there's always someone available to assist if needed.
After many years as a Travel Advisor, I recently began an exciting new chapter with Global Travel Collection—and just one month in, I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Where do I even begin? From the very start, Business Development Manager, Jena Robinson was incredible—patient, supportive, and completely understanding of my timeline as I navigated this transition. Advisor Success Managers, Sammy Rabin and Melinda Gerdts, along with every support department I’ve interacted with, have been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in advisor success. I’m also grateful to my referral advisor, Dave Scheich, for his guidance and encouragement throughout the process.
The technology and infrastructure now available to me allow me to serve my clients more efficiently and at an elevated level. The marketing, referral program, and numerous benefits GTC offers—not only to advisors but also to our clients—are truly second to none.
I am so excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of the GTC community.
I feel lucky to have started my independent travel advisor journey under the umbrella of GTC in 2001. GTC has continued to evolve and improve in so many ways. But from the top down, I feel always feel supported in my busienss. The people, systems, trade shows, consortium, and partner contracts, the grass is more than fine over here. I also believe that the support I have from my assigned "Advisor Success Manager" provides a personal touch and allows me to evolve and grow in my own business. The accounting team is one of the most important pillars of a business. Our team is a strong and reliable pillar for sure. They are knowledgeable, reliable, thorough, and great at following through with both suppliers and agents.

Booking flights is not that difficult, but when faced with a refund and/or exchange, it can be a daunting task especially when applying the correct formats to adhere to fare rules, etc. Having the support of the air department has been such a blessing.
Our Revenue Management team is a beast! Working tirelessly, I wonder if they ever go to sleep?

Whenever I am unsure who to contact for a specific scenario, I simply drop an email to them and BOOM! I am guided to the right person.

The number of resources and information available at our fingertips is a blessing. From Air, to Cruise, to hotel, to In-country Partners, to rail, all the way to Travel Protection. Agents WILL ALWAYS have a roadmap to utilize the resources available to them.

I joined Global Travel Collection in 2025 and having formerly been with another HOST I have found GTC to be Incredibly respected by Suppliers and they provide qualified Independent Contractors with support from day 1. I was onboarded by a team as if I were an employee. I have a Business Success Manager who assists me with all aspects of my business. I have partnered with a Director of Strategic Partnerships to sign new accounts and I have a Host office in my area with a manager who is a partner and invites me to attend events in her office as well as team meetings with Suppliers. GTC has a variety of trainings that provide all of the resources that you need to be a complete success!

GTC has been wonderful in supporting and promoting the growth of my business. GTC has been very helpful in many ways. My present title is “Independent Contractor” but I still like the title of travel advisor. I owned my own agency for more than 40 years. But merging with ALTOUR/The Travel Authority gave me the freedom to run my solo little business but with lots of GTC backup. The IT department is so helpful when I have both important problems and with little things. The accounting staff are angels from heaven to someone who would rather do an FIT to Japan than do an invoice. My clients get preferred treatment from many vendors and hotels, giving me an edge. I get vital updates about world and travel situations, passport problems, etc. Yes, I am very glad that I am now an IC with GTC/Traveleaders.
