I'm five months into my journey with Outside Agents. I chose them because they were the best value as far as I could tell, and the woman who inspired me to pursue this career recommended them after doing her research after having started with another company that was an MLM that she doesn't want to be affiliated with. I'm taking her to lunch tomorrow in appreciation for the recommendation, I feel like OA was a good fit for me. So far they've been pretty hands off with me, but that's kind of what I wanted while I got the business parts completed ... setting up the business, figuring out how to organize things, getting the inital training done and getting familiar with everything, getting my website set up, the whole nine yards, dang no wonder I'm tired, lol. I kid. Not really but OA made it so much better than it could have been. They will not hold your hand, don't expect that, I didn't even want that and suspect you don't either. But as you have questions, they will answer the ones related to their business. If it's related to YOUR business, that's all you. You are assigned a mentor after your initial training and because I'm still pretty early, I'm trying to get a feel for how that works. It's pretty incredible what a great system they have set up, for so many agents from so many backgrounds with such different levels of knowlege and experience. And they make it work. Oh, you need to know, they have a great system for handling pretty much any question you have that you can't find yourself. MOST of it is already documented and it's pretty easy to find your way around after you get the hang of it. But when you can't find the answer or you need something, you just submit an SOS ticket. Their SOS team is on top of it, they're quick with a response! I'm coming from a corporate background and am super impressed with their SOS team in comparison to the responses I've seen in the corporate world. I'm super early in and will come back and update later on. My advice so far would be to bet on OA and go for it!
Before launching my business, I did a lot of research and purchased an entire training program from somewhere else. The only reason I am not angry about having spent all that money is because that training program ended with host agency recommendations, and one of those recommendations was Outside Agents. I am so impressed by the available resources, training, marketing, etc. that are included in the very small monthly fee. Outside Agents is ideal for any travel agent, as their commission split is one of the highest, if not THE highest, in the business. But especially for someone who wants to create a brand for themselves, not use another host's brand, Outside Agents is the best. Seriously, they keep adding, or I keep finding, new resources available to me, for training, suppliers and marketing. This has been an exciting year, and I could not have had this kind of success without Outside Agents!
OA has been my host agency since I started my business...just before the pandemic. They offer automated training as well as in person trainings in Jacksonville, FL. The support is great, but you are a true Independent Contractor. You decide how much or little you choose to take advantage of with their training and support. Although I would love to see updates with our CRM, it is still a very good tool. One of many that are included in the monthly fee.
OA is excellent in so many way-the staff is very well trained and very helpful, & personable too. The owners are always adding new training for us - complimentary online as well as in person at their office, and seminars at sea. Frequent emails are welcome to keep us in touch with what's new. I highly recommend them for all advisors - your business will grow quickly.
Joining Outside Agents has been such an incredible journey of growth for my travel business. Outside Agents has been super supportive of my new start into the industry. I have never regretted switching from another Host Agency to Outside Agents in 2019. Their support "family" is outstanding. They are always looking for ways to keep us informed and trained with industry changes and technology. All while be aware of our budgets as TA's. I highly recommend Outside Agents.

The people I've dealt with have always been quick to respond to my questions, and they're always super friendly and helpful. Even the owners of the company are always accessible, and they're always willing to go the extra mile to help me succeed. Another thing I appreciate about Outside Agents is their commission structure. To my knowledge they offer some of the highest commissions splitting in the industry. They don't only give you all the necessary tools to get your business started, but they provide unparalleled support, there is an incredibly personal touch to every interaction and an incredible amount of resources provided to you, from having the ability to speak to the owners directly to amazing mentors, everyone I have had the pleasure of speaking to has been incredibly, kind, helpful, patient and knowledgeable, OA also encourages a sense of community that you cannot find many places nowadays, I could speak amazing things too about all the other agents with OA, OA has nurtured a community where everyone is helping each other, everyone is always happy to help and share their knowledge and resources, I can confidently say that this is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
I have been with Outside Agents since 2018. They provide everything that a home-based agent would need and they provide so much support for any agent. The commission split is very fair. The training is great. The support you receive from other agents is amazing. If you need any help with clients, or bookings all you have to do is ask.
