I joined Dugan's Travel in July of 2021 with no travel agent experience under my belt. I had discovered the joy of traveling only a few years before, and I was looking for a way to travel more and supplement my upcoming retirement income. I decided to give it a year's trial to see if I liked it and could make any money doing it.
Dugan's agency was more than willing to take on a newbie and provided a multitude of training opportunities. If I've had questions on procedures or suppliers or just needed suggestions for great travel ideas for clients, I've always gotten feedback from the leadership team or from other agents in the Dugan's family via the Facebook page. I've never been left hanging on my own.
I live in a small Midwestern town so I don't have a vast population to pull from for travel
clients, but with the variety of training I've taken advantage of, I have been in the top 25 selling agents in 2022. I so enjoy the work I'm doing, now as a full-time agent since my recent retirement. I'm so thankful I took a chance to reach out to Dugan's Travel to ask how I could become a travel agent with their organization. I love that with Dugan's I can move at my own pace. The back office support system is absolutely amazing they are there for you no matter what and will walk you through what ever issues you may come across. I really appreciate the add support from the other agents. I am beyond grateful to have such a supportive family to become a part of.

I have been a Travel Agent with Dugans for over 11 years. The support is amazing. There is always someone to reach out to when you have questions. There is an amazing Facebook page for other agents to share ideas and help guide each other as well. 2020 was difficult for everyone but Dugans made sure that we knew they were right there with us the entire time.

I have just renewed for my 4th year. The support they supply to agents through ongoing training, mentorship program and simply get togethers to discuss travel for whatever you need. It truly feels Family First.

When looking to start my own business in the travel agency I did my research and I found Dugan's Travels LLC. I looked at several host agencies and I set up an appointment to talk to Dugan's Travels LLC and after a helpful phone call I knew this was the right host agency for me. I appreciated that they answered my questions and also asked questions of me to set reasonable expectation about joining their agency. Once I joined they included training that was very helpful and I also took the opportunity to attend their annual Dugan's U to gain valuable knowledge and meet suppliers and fellow agents. The networking with this host agency is useful and the Dugan's team that is their for support is also quick to reply and help you because they want you to succeed!
