Worldwide tourism literally could not staff up quickly enough to meet the overwhelming demand. So how did we manage as a network and what kept us on track? The UNWTO's latest World Tourism Barometer shows an increase of 182% for international tourism in the first three months of 2022 compared to the previous year. According to the recent annual survey conducted by, the average hosted advisor income has increased an average of 126% in the past year. Mary Stein stated, “The likelihood for travel advisors to sell travel as a primary income source has exceeded pre-pandemic 2019 levels.” So, what has this meant so far for UTC? The shift in the advisor mindset has been nothing short of amazing. People are finally excited to sell travel again, and as members of UTC and Virtuoso, their access to top-notch sales and marketing tools has put them back on the fast track.
