KHM Travel Group Expands Executive Team

KHM Travel Group has had a banner year in 2016, and that success is due in no small part to its agents. It’s also a testament to the dedication and hard work of KHM Travel’s Executive Team, which has expanded this year to match the growth of its home-based travel agents.Early in 2016, Lisa Morris was promoted to Vice President of Agent Operations. Lisa began her travel career over 25 years ago after attending Southeastern Travel Academy in Florida. She became a travel agent and then worked as a travel and tourism instructor at a business college before joining the Royal Caribbean International team.

Eventually Lisa took to the skies as a flight attendant, traveling to places across the globe including New Zealand, Rio de Janeiro, and Paris. After many years of traveling, Lisa settled back in Ohio to be near her family, where she continued her career with KHM Travel Group.

Since Lisa joined the KHM Travel Group team in 2009, she has been an integral part of nearly all the new programs and initiatives the company has launched. As Supplier Relations Director, she worked daily with supplier representatives to find creative and innovative ways to promote their travel products to both travel agents and consumers.

As Vice President of Agent Operations, Lisa has continued to utilize her talents in working with others and developing relationships, along with her vast knowledge of the travel industry, to serve as a leader and resource to the company’s departments.

This month, KHM Travel Group’s Executive Team expanded even further with the promotion of Geoff Cox to Vice President of Sales. Geoff is no stranger to the travel industry; from 1993-2002, he worked as Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager at Royal Caribbean International. After his time with Royal Caribbean, Geoff served as a Business Development Manager with Carnival Cruise Line for eight years.

When Geoff joined KHM Travel Group as Supplier Relations Director in 2011, he began working to increase agents’ production with several key Preferred Suppliers including Mark Travel, Delta Vacations, and Carnival.

Not only has Geoff worked closely with the company’s travel partners, but he has also dedicated much of his time to focusing on the needs of its agents. As the driving force behind the Pinnacle and Basecamp programs for top-producers, Geoff always keeps agents’ goals in mind when developing new ideas.“Adding Geoff to the company’s Executive Team ensures we will remain focused on providing results-oriented leadership, stellar service and meaningful support to our network of home-based travel agents,” said President Rick Zimmerman.
