Kick Start Business 101 is Outside Agents’ five-day, in-person training designed to help travel advisors build a strong operational and sales foundation.
Held at our Jacksonville, Florida training center, this classroom-style workshop provides structured, interactive instruction in a focused small-group setting. Advisors learn directly from Outside Agents leadership, experienced staff, and participating supplier representatives.
Throughout the week, attendees receive training in:
• Travel agency business operations, policies, and best practices
• Sales strategies and proven techniques
• Marketing fundamentals, including social media and branding tools
• Introduction to suppliers, including how to register, understand target markets, and make reservations
• Fraud prevention and professional business standards
• Leveraging Outside Agents’ internal systems and tools
Representatives from cruise lines, resorts, and guided vacation suppliers participate to provide direct education and relationship-building opportunities.
Each training day includes interactive classroom sessions, Q&A discussions, and daily networking. Lunch is provided each day, and attendees participate in a hosted group networking evening during the week.
