I was searching for a host agency and I was going to join Nexion Canada ULC when Onvigo came up. I decided to join Onvigo.

The energy and excitement they create is amazing, but their system in place are for better words....mickey mouse. Unlike other agencies, you have to go thru a support ticketing system for any vendor access, which can take days, even weeks. When you have a client that wants something now, this is simply unacceptable. I had a client wanting a luxury cruise that I was told by Onvigo that they did not have a relationship with the vendor, I had to tell the client I could not help them, 6 hours later I am granted access to that Vendor to book a trip, however the client had already moved on to someone else. That cost me $4000 in commission (Explora Journeys 21 day cruise).

Their CRM system is anything but friendly, full of repetitive steps that prone for error, you can add at least 1 hour to your booking time just to navigate their not made for travel CRM system that they are trying to adapt to use for travel.

There are lots of great reviews, from new to the industry people pumped about their new career, not knowing much about the industry. It is posted on the internal billboard system, let's grow onvigo leave a good review.

Now to my Departure....Having a niche market dealing with people with special needs I wanted to be able to promote this vs Onvigo. Onvigo thought capable to work with this wanted me to promote Onvigo as it their mission to build an agency with as many members as they can and do volume sales.

So I was negotiating my move, under the understanding that I would have access to the systems needed to maintain my bookings till such time that I am done. Out of no where I get an email that my access has been revoked and we have departed ways. They will pay me commissions out as my clients complete their journeys.

I have clients with special needs, requiring medical devices etc. I was completely locked out of my clients information, trips, everything. It has taken from Mid December 2024 to Today Jan 10th 2025 on how we are going to deal with existing bookings. I had clients that board a cruise ship tomorrow that I had no access to their files.

On of the last tipping points was my notice of 6 month review. Reading this what stood out the most was that Onvigo was going to institute a $88/mo fee unless list of criteria were met. I decided that Nexion who charges way less, has way more was the better route to go. I get industry specific tools, better commission splits for less.

End of the day, I give Onvigo a 2 as I do believe some people like the Director Of Operations really do care about the success of people who join Onvigo. As well they do try to help. I have expressed a few times those that are awesome at Onvigo and really care, sadly there are those that just are not professional and take weeks to get back to you on time sensitive issues.

There is an old saying, you get what you pay for....Onvigo is free (for a period of time)

What can I say that hasn't already been said.....
support staff is superb
you are treated like a valued individual
training is easy to understand
the program is set up for success
it is apparent that the planning in creating this host agency has taken many considerations to make this a successful agency
suggestions and input from ITAs is greatly appreciated by support staff and management
