What do you consider a Sub-Agent and is there any charge for them?
Asked by Thomas Johnson III on January 9, 2020 in General

Thank you for your inquiry. We consider a sub-agent to be an agent that works under the guidance of another (or lead) agent. We have several agents that manage sub agents. The set up for lead agents and sub agents varies widely and can be arranged several different ways. If you are interested in more information please feel free to contact us on 866-318-0391.

What is the difference between business class and first class? How does a new person get started? Cost? Certification? Average income?
Asked by Ann Pappas on June 26, 2019 in General

HI Ann,

I wanted to chime in because I think when you mention "business class and first class" that you may be referring to advertising levels on our site. If so, these are simply different advertising tiers for the host agencies, franchises and consortia listed on the site. Different tiers of advertising equates to different levels of exposure on our site.

Hope that helps! I'll let OAL address the rest of your question!

Is there a ratio requirement of client bookings to self-bookings?
Asked by Sonda Jones on April 29, 2019 in General

Hi Sonda,
Outside Agent Link does not have requirements of client bookings vs. self bookings. Some of our agents book travel for themselves solely. One caveat with booking travel for yourself is you must pay the full amount (gross) of the reservation components. The benefit though is you will be receiving your commission percentage back once it has been processed by our office. Thank you for your inquiry!
