I joined MainStreet in 2021, not knowing what to expect as I had zero experience in being a Travel Agent. At the time I vacationed to Disney destinations frequently and my friends and family always came to me to help them book their Disney vacations. As time passed I thought I would join an agency and still help those same people, but with an agency. The only thing is I worked a full time job and worked a variety of shifts. MainStreet was perfect for what I needed as they allowed the flexibility to be a Travel Agent and still hold my full-time job.
Their variety of training they offer as well as the many suppliers they work with have helped me grow as an agent. Something that was once a hobby has become something I am passionate about with a hunger to grow more and more each year. My portfolio has grown from just Disney to dozens of other suppliers/vendors.
I have also attended a FAM trip and have made Elite agent, 2 years in a row! As an Elite agent, I am able to attend a retreat that consists of several days of training with different suppliers, receive one-on-one growth/marketing plans, as well as dedicated training, and opportunities to experience supplier trips! I hope to continue to grow and share my passion of traveling with others!
