I signed up with Jess.travel in March and it was the best thing I could have done when I decided to start travel planning. I had been wanting to get into travel planning for a while. I didn’t have a degree in travel and tourism and had never worked for an agency, but had been planning my own and others’ trips for years. I felt overwhelmed at the thought of starting my own business though and had so much to learn about doing it professionally. Jess and Joe helped me with everything and made it all so easy! Joe gave me so much support with the business end of things and gave me pointers on my webpage as well. Jess’s insights on travel planning have also been invaluable! They always get back to you very quickly to answer questions you may have and are willing to look into travel portals you want to add. Jess.Travel has gone above and beyond my expectations for a host agency. I was looking to start custom travel planning for a while but could not settle on an agency. The ones I looked at were too impersonal or had too high of a start-up cost. As I was looking to do travel planning on the side of a fulltime job, I really wanted an agency where I'd feel like part of a family and where sales weren't expected of me, but applauded when I had them. Additionally, Jess.Travel creates commission split tiers to motivate their agents. During my first year, I went from a 50/50 commission split (as per my contract) to 90/10 due to my sales (and the bar isn't set too high either!).
