After working for a large company for 19 years I made the decision to transition to independent. The thought of doing so was scary and after shopping around for host agencies I realized that ILT had the best opportunities for me and my business. I'm so happy to be working independently.
When I have an idea for marketing or events, I can always call the ILT operations team for advice and guidance. They also work hard to bring us new and updated systems to make our jobs easier, SABRE being my favorite.
Most importantly, the membership fees are fair and the commission structure is great!

Partnering with Envoyage has been one of the best moves for my travel business. The community vibe is awesome—their events make it so easy to connect and swap ideas with other business owners.The day-to-day business support is just as great. The internal team is super responsive, and between their strong supplier relationships and great commission splits, it’s easy to maximize earnings. They also really know how to celebrate your wins. I was lucky enough to be recognized as a top producer recently and got to celebrate with other international members in the Maldives! If you want a host that gives you total freedom but still has your back, Envoyage is a perfect fit

Joining Envoyage was the best business decision I’ve made! There’s a true sense of community throughout Envoyage from the fellow members to the support team. No matter what question you have there’s always someone ready and willing to jump in and help find the answer for you.
The relationships with BDMs are solid across the board.
They offer an excellent commission structure as well.
Our conferences are not only educational but fun at the same time!
I’m grateful to be a part of such a supportive network of advisors and team members.

I can't recommend Envoyage highly enough. I worked in a store for a national brand and left the industry for about 10 years when I had my babies. I came back as an independent agent - with Envoyage. I work from home but have all the support and community that I did when I was in my store. Envoyage offers not only opportunities online, perfect for my home-based agency, but also in person events on smaller, national, and global scales. I have met other amazing agents online but especially at the national and international conferences, and these colleagues have become my sounding boards, therapy, and friends, the support team at Envoyage included. They offer the tools and the team to help me grow my business; I owe much of my success to them. The fees and split are fair, too!

I have been a travel advisor for 41 years, and for the past six years I’ve been an agency owner/advisor with Envoyage US. After decades in this industry, I can say with complete confidence that Envoyage is the best host agency I have ever partnered with.

What I love most is that I never feel like I’m on my own. The support from the Envoyage staff is exceptional—responsive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in my success. Their commission structure is one of the strongest in the industry, and the internal booking system gives me the flexibility to create custom packages to destinations all over the world.

Envoyage also understands how important community is for advisors who work from home. They actively encourage us to connect through conferences, roadshows across the country, and events at their headquarters in New Jersey. These gatherings are invaluable for education, networking, and simply feeling part of a larger family.

As a travel advisor, choosing the right host agency is one of the most important business decisions you can make, and my experience with Envoyage has been extremely positive. What stands out most is the balance between strong industry support and advisor independence. Envoyage provides excellent preferred partnerships, competitive commission structures, and training opportunities while still allowing advisors to build their own brand and business style. The community aspect is also a huge advantage. The collaboration among advisors is supportive, and the leadership team genuinely is invested in helping advisors grow long-term. The events that Envoyage puts on are the best in the industry, whether it's local roadshow event dinners, paint and sips at HQ, or conferences in exotic destinations. We have had global conferences in Chile, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, and ICONS top advisor rewards trips to Europe, the Maldives, and this year Vietnam. Whether it’s supplier relationships, continuously improving technology platforms, or professional development, there is a strong focus on giving advisors the tools needed to succeed in today’s travel industry. I also appreciate the credibility and buying power that comes from being connected to the larger global travel network of Flight Centre. Overall, I recommend Envoyage to experienced advisors wanting to form strong supplier partnerships, attend great events, and have a supportive professional community.

Great support team, competitive commission, access to top supplier BDM’s, and incredible training opportunities. No brainer! I never miss an annual conference where I can learn industry trends, have one on one time with industry leaders, and have my voice heard to help shape the future of how we do business.

For over 15 years I worked as an outside agent for a local travel agency. I met an agent who went on her own several years ago and she suggested I get my own CLIA number to set up a home based independent agency. It worked but I really needed someone who would be able to help me with support and research. In 2018 that same person told me about Independent and I immediately got on board with them.
It's nice to be able to speak with a knowledgeable person who makes me feel secure in what I'm doing. Alicia is available to me whenever I have an issue, problem or just a question. She always gives me the direction and support I need. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Their fees are acceptable. Their commission rate is good and payments are always made in a timely manner.
If you aren't sure if this is the right move for you, just give them a call. I'm sure they will prove to you it's the way to go. I'm happy I did!

ILT made the transition from working in a store front for a corporation to working at home for myself seamless. Andrea, Alicia, and Stacy (and so many others) have been there since day one to guide me and answer all of my questions - and there have been many questions. The relationships forged through ILT, whether they be with other agents or our amazing support team, are empowering. The industry relationships through ILT and Flight Centre make booking a breeze; from cruises, to escorted tours, to FITS - we have contacts in all facets of the business. I highly recommend working with Independent by Liberty Travel.

After nearly a decade of working in the retail travel space, I was presented with the opportunity to join the independent, home-based side of the business this past winter. After some initial hesitation, I decided to take the plunge and could not be happier with my decision. Independent by Liberty Travel is an incredible host agency with so much to offer. I have never felt more supported and empowered than I do with ILT! Owning a business is challenging, but the members and support team are here to help every step of the way.
