Easy to use systems for invoicing and no accounting necessary as its done for you with organized commission reports with taxes broken down sent monthly. As a new to industry agent in 2019, I was looking for an agency that would provide training that I could access outside of office hours, have reasonable fees, and allow me to work from anywhere. I found all this and more with Envoyage (formerly Independent by Flight Centre).

When Covid hit, I was working at Corporate Traveller (the corporate travel division of Flight Centre), and what we figured would be 1-2 weeks off, turned into several months. While I waited to be recalled to work in travel, I had the opportunity to work for one of my corporate clients. Ultimately, I decided to stick with my new career path but I undoubtedly missed working in travel. When my new employer asked if I would consider managing their corporate travel again, I jumped at the opportunity and was very excited to rejoin Envoyage.

Now, I have the best of both worlds, a new career, learning new things while also being able to work in travel which I have been passionate about for the last 20+ years. Envoyage has great people and an awesome support team to help me balance both jobs effectively. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to still be able to work in travel in alongside to my new career and make some additional income.

Was an easy transition from being an office-based agent to a home-based agent, and I love the flexibility offered by doing so.

Since the pandemic, I have been working with Flight Centre Independent, and couldn't be happier! The work life balance is great, which was one thing that I was slightly worried about while working in travel independently. The support offered is fantastic, and available evenings/weekends as well, which is perfect!
