I started off in the travel industry working with another host agency that I was not happy with and one of my friends who's also a travel agent kept telling me to give Avoya a try. I'm so glad that I gave them a try and I'm happy to still have my travel agency business affiliated with them a year later. The support that I get from Avoya especially the Early Success Team and Brand Sales Departments is extremely wonderful. I will admit when I first joined Avoya I was struggling but that's because I didn't reach out for help and once I contacted Early Success at Avoya asking them for help I went from struggling to now ending every month with at least over $2,000 commission wise. The Early Success Team is a wonderful asset that I'm very glad that Avoya has for free where as with most other host agencies they charge you for a coaching session. Avoya has opportunities where you can meet with the senior leadership team in person. Avoya even invited me to attend the naming ceremony for Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas where I got to meet so many of Avoya Senior Leadership Team in person and I even got to talk to Avoya CSO Phil Cappelli for a bit during the 3-day naming ceremony cruise to the Bahamas. The live leads program with Avoya is amazing not only are my customers from the live leads program but some of them are also referrals that I got from the leads that I claimed threw Avoya live leads program. Avoya has a long standing relationship with so many suppliers and whenever I have a question or a issue I know that Avoya support team is there to help me. I love how Avoya also has training/educational opportunities that are offered via Zoom. A lot of Avoya staff use to be IA's with Avoya so a lot of them talk from experience. Overall I'm very happy with my affiliation with Avoya and I should of went with Avoya in the first place. Now I'm actually getting ready to add agents under my license and expand my business. I also love how Avoya Early Success Department makes sure that I have goals set for myself and how they cheer me on and celebrate whenever I hit a goal.
Avoya Travel is added value to agents in standing out amount the rest of the industry, I am very grateful. We have a greater opportunity to earn higher incomes because we have live leads, and the best support system. I love the people and the cruise business.
I joined Avoya Network because I had read so much positive feedback on the reviews. I spoke with 2 of their travel agents in depth and found they were both very happy as well. One has been with them for more than 5 years the other 1 year.
The support and encouragement I have received from this company is amazing. Great mentoring programs and I never felt like was left in the dark in the training process and when I started taking calls. Once I figured out my own systems to keep track of clients (they have a wonderful system you can keep track with, I just needed somewhere to keep all my correspondence, emails & phone conversations) it's been really very easy. When I have had a question, support is right there to answer them for me.
Would I recommend Avoya Travel???? YES!!!!! Best move I have ever made!
No negotiation in contract, just dropped and has not begun to refund me everything I gave them. Also, they send lots of emails on professional training and is a bit much.

You also could have decided not to renew the agreement if the business relationship with Avoya was not profitable for you, or for any other reason.
Michael, we all invest time and money into our independent businesses with the expectation of a good return on investment (ROI), but clearly without a guarantee. That’s business. For example, Avoya invests millions on support, technology and marketing for Live Leads™ that we offer to Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network - for no additional charge - and we hope that enough leads are closed by Independent Agencies to provide us a reasonable return. I love the great support that Avoya Travel offers to the Independent Agencies. The offer match system has excellent flexibility, and the support team answers fast. I used to work for Carlson Wagonlit back in the day. Being part of a large corporation had many perks. I feel like Avoya has the same perks on a large scale but the flexibility to work when and where I want. I feel the ability to log into my clients information whether on the side of the pool, skiing at the lodge and everything in between is AMAZING.
Avoya has so much more to offer than mere affiliation. From the Mastermind program, AP Back to the Basics Webinars, This Week on Sale, Ask the Pros, AP Q&A, Avoya Travel, Power Hour, Conference, and MM trips. My "affiliation" fee is worth so much more than just affiliation.
Avoya’s prominence in the industry gives them negotiating power with most of the large travel providers. This allows its home based independent agents to be competitive right from the get go. Avoya also offers support in a variety of forms including a Mastermind team that encourages and coaches as needed. I had traveled prior to my affiliation but I hadn’t worked in the industry at all and I felt confident from the start thanks to the tools Avoya offers. I would recommend Avoya to newbies as well as seasoned agents.
The support and education provided by Avoya is outstanding! I'm excited to attend the conference in June and the MasterMind program in September. The Live Leads are awesome, not all are good, but in what business is there only good leads. Looking forward to a long future with Avoya!
