“Every year, our agents up the ante as they continue to impress with their dedication, passion and accomplishments as business owners, so it’s truly a privilege to celebrate this remarkable group of industry professionals,” said Nexion President Jackie Friedman, CTC, CTIE. “As the engine that drives Nexion, our top agents deserve all the benefits their success yields.” Nexion’s Circle of Excellence award recognizes the top producers who achieved set goals for selling cruise and tour vacations using Nexion’s supplier partners. In addition to the 77 Circle of Excellence recipients, Nexion presented 25 agents with its MillionAir award. The award recognizes individual achievements of more than $1 million in airline sales during the course of the previous year.

“We’re also thrilled to celebrate two double award winners this year,” continued Friedman. “Carolyn McDaniel and Steve Lincoln are exceptional Nexion agents, who are always willing to share their insights and industry knowledge with other Nexion agents. Coupled with the tools, support and programs Nexion offers, even our most experienced agents are able to benefit.”

Julie Drouin of Drouin Cruises

CoNexion 2015 As part of the celebration, Nexion bestowed its annual Ambassador award on a Nexion agent and to a supplier partner. Both Julie Drouin (Austin, Texas) and Lisa Tinnerman (Funjet Vacations) were honored in recognition of their exemplary leadership skills and demonstrating what it means to “Be NEX.” Julie Drouin was nominated for the award by several of her fellow Nexion agents. “Julie is a leader within our Nexion family, ranging from her mentorship of younger agents to her involvement in a variety of professional development opportunities,” explained Friedman. “Julie goes out of her way to help other Nexion agents get more involved – she even hosted a networking and social event at her house for Austin-area members. Julie truly embodies what it means to ‘Be NEX.’”

A True Supplier Partner

Lisa Tinnerman, Funjet Vacations

“Lisa Tinnerman embodies the true sense of the word ‘partner’ – whether it’s in responding to a request from our headquarters staff or from any one of our agents, she responds with a smile,” said Nexion Vice President of Sales and Marketing Cris De Souza. “She’s always willing to collaborate on ideas to grow our mutual business, and we appreciate her commitment to our success.” In addition to the recognition of agent honors at CoNexion, top-tier award winners will also receive an all-expense paid trip to Maui, Hawaii, December 3-6, 2015. The winners will celebrate on the trip along with Nexion President Jackie Friedman, Nexion senior staff and some of Nexion’s top supplier partners at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa.
