Nexion Recognizes Agent Award Winners at CoNexion 2014
During its annual CoNexion conference at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, FL, Nexion® – the travel industry’s premier host travel agency – announced the recipients of its prestigious Circle of Excellence, MillionAir, and Ambassador Awards for 2014. Thanks to Nexion’s sustained year-over-year growth, a record number of agents were recognized. Among the recipients included Nexion’s first-ever triple award winner, Steve Lincoln of Bridgewater, VA.
“Every year I am impressed with how our agents reap the benefits of their hard work through their successes and accomplishments as entrepreneurs,” stated Nexion President Jackie Friedman CTC, CTIE. “Our agents are the pulse of Nexion, and we want nothing more than to see them continue to raise the bar on how fast and how much they can grow their businesses. That’s why it is with extreme honor and privilege we celebrate such a tremendous group of travel industry professionals.”
Friedman continued, “The entire Nexion team is elated to be celebrating another record year of agent award winners. For the first time in Nexion history, we were able to recognize a triple award winner, Steve Lincoln. A total of 72 agents were honored with Nexion’s Circle of Excellence Award (an annual increase of 71%), recognizing top producers who achieved set goals for selling cruise and tour vacations using Nexion’s supplier partners. In addition, Nexion presented 32 agents with its MillionAir award, recognizing individual achievements of more than $1 million in airline sales during the course of the previous year. Receiving both the Circle of Excellence and MillionAir awards in addition to Lincoln are Arik Anderson of Elk Grove, CA; Samantha Khalil of Palm Bay, FL; and Carolyn McDaniel of Opelika, AL.
As part of the celebration, Nexion honored Lincoln and Deb Fogarty of Pembroke Pines, FL, with its Ambassador Award. Lincoln was recognized for his contribution to Nexion agents, along with his willingness to embrace a plethora of Nexion’s tools and programs. Fogarty exemplifies what it means to “Be NEX” and was recognized for her enthusiasm to assume a mentorship role and inspire other Nexion agents. Anthony Cosenza with Enterprise Holdings was also honored with the Ambassador Award for his dedication to Nexion and support for Nexion agents and their business development.
“This is my fourth consecutive year winning the Circle of Excellence and MillionAir Award concurrently. It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” said Lincoln. “Receiving the Ambassador Award is genuinely one of my proudest accomplishments, because it validates my continued effort and proves to me that I can make a difference to others – that’s a goal we should all strive for.”
In addition to the recognition at CoNexion, top-tier award winners will be treated to an all-expenses-paid trip to Cancun, Mexico, November 1 - 4, 2014, courtesy of Nexion, Funjet Vacations and Grupo Posadas.
