KHM Travel Group’s Year in Review: A Record-Breaking 2016!
KHM Travel Group’s 2016 was packed with fun FAMs, agent success stories, and quite a few industry awards. All of these numbers and highlights from this 2016 Year in Review would not have been possible without KHM Travel’s staff, suppliers, and most importantly, our dedicated, hard-working travel agents!
With 25 percent growth in travel sales, KHM Travel Agents definitely rocked last year, and they took home the commission to prove it. August was a record-breaking month – with almost $1.5 million in commission paid out to agents!
Knowledge is power, which why KHM Travel made sure to offer plenty of educational opportunities throughout the year. In 2016, 185 travel agents took advantage of 10 FAM trips that were hosted by KHM Travel Group through its Preferred Suppliers. This includes the third annual Crystal Conference and Awards on the Norwegian Sky, which was the host agency’s biggest event to date.
KHM Travel Group also had a busy year at the home office in Ohio, where five live educational events were hosted. More than 200 agents invested in expanding their travel agent knowledge and skills at Boot Camp, for new travel agents, and Destination Success, for agents of all experience levels.
KHM Travel Group has two programs, Basecamp and Pinnacle, to motivate and help agents to reach their business goals. Each agent that reaches $50K in commissionable sales is automatically enrolled in Basecamp, and from there, they can go on to the Pinnacle program, which welcomes agents that reach $100K in commissionable sales.
In 2016, the Basecamp program grew to 252 agents and the Pinnacle program grew to 275 agents. More KHM Travel Agents also reached the higher tiers of sales than ever before!
KHM Travel Group is looking forward to welcoming more of their home-based travel agents to Basecamp and Pinnacle in 2017!
