KHM Travel Group Gets Back in the World Through “FAM Forward” Events
As travel restrictions are relaxed, KHM Travel Group is leading the industry by helping agents return to the heart of what they love through exclusive familiarization (FAM) trips. Kicking off in May and running through September, our multiple FAM Forward events allow agents to learn about the new protocols that clients can expect when visiting resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Participating suppliers so far include Playa Hotels & Resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts, Palladium Hotel Group, and Karisma Hotels & Resorts. Each FAM entails supplier trainings, exclusive site inspections, amazing dining experiences, and plenty of time to get to know other KHM Travel Agents and team members.

FAM trips are always insightful for agents to gain valuable information for clients, but especially during the pandemic. Being able to experience firsthand the impacts of maximum capacity updates, social distancing and mask protocols, and the process of COVID-19 testing has proved to be essential to attendees. These trips also provide a great way for agents to connect with old friends and meet new ones after a long year of only virtual gatherings!
In between site visits and pool time, our Grand Palladium Puerto Vallarta FAM included training from AMSTAR and Palladium Group.
