GIFTE’s Book More Travel Workshop Wins Travel Weekly Magellan Award
Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs (GIFTE) announces that the Book More Travel Workshop has been honored with a 2018 Travel Weekly Magellan Silver Award in the Travel Agency/Agent category for Overall-Travel Agent Innovation.
With entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Magellan Award winners represent the best in the travel industry and salute the outstanding travel professionals behind it all. “Magellan winners are those in the industry who communicate travel’s promise, through words, images and design, in ways that ring true and stand out,” said Arnie Weissmann, editor in chief of Travel Weekly. “They create the environments and craft the messages that spark travelers’ imaginations.”
The Book More Travel Workshop is GIFTE’s annual event, and it has proved to be a travel industry event like no other. The Book More Travel Workshop focuses on teaching travel advisors the most important business and marketing strategies to take their passion for travel and convert it into a successful business.
Even more important, however, is the education on developing a success mindset. This mindset education helps the attendees discover the leader within, steer their businesses to levels of success beyond their wildest dreams and harness their inner power which translates to ALL areas of their lives, not just their businesses.
The Book More Travel Workshop is truly a life-changing experience and it’s no wonder it has an incredibly high return rate. There are travel advisors who have attended every year since its first event in 2013. Beyond the business strategy and mindset education, the Book More Travel Workshop is an event designed to infuse extraordinary energy into its attendees where fun, laughter and dancing are the norm. Why? Because the journey, not just the destination, is meant to be fun.
In response to receiving this award, GIFTE’s Founder, Meredith Hill, says, “Winning this award for the Book More Travel Workshop is an incredible honor. I find it very fitting that the category in which we received the award is Travel Agent Innovation. I believe that the combination of business strategy and mindset mastery that we teach at the Book More Travel Workshop is not delivered anywhere else in the travel industry and yet is so fundamental to the success of any business selling travel. Add to this the incredible energy infusion we deliberately design into the curriculum and depth of connections and relationships that happen at our event, we feel so happy to be a part of it and inspired to keep doing it, better and better each time.”
The 2019 Book More Travel Workshop is February 21 – 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Registration is now open for the event. Visit www.bookmoretravelworkshop.com
