GIFTE Invites Travel Pros to "Book More Travel Workshop" in February

December 18, 2015

The Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs invites travel professionals to attend its upcoming annual Book More Travel Workshop (BMTW) in Charlotte, NC. The workshop, to be held over February 4thand 5th, 2016, will feature GIFTE leadership and a host of highly successful travel professionals who will share insights into how to effectively monetize one’s passion for travel by using cutting edge marketing strategies and adopting a successful mindset.

There has never been a better time to be in the travel business. According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, spending on travel and tourism has increased at an annual rate of 6.5 percent, with tourism-related spending reaching $1.6 trillion in the second quarter of 2015. At the workshop, speakers will demystify how travel professionals can take advantage of the incredible opportunities that exist in travel by building businesses that showcase their expertise and creating brands that are truly aligned with their individual brilliance.

This event is unlike any other in the travel industry in that the BMTW content is focused on practical, cutting-edge strategies for growing a travel business. Rather than teaching about travel suppliers, products, or destination information like many other industry events, the GIFTE team’s goal for the BMTW is to ensure that attendees walk away with actionable strategies that will transform their businesses — and their lives. That’s what happened to Debbie Giroux, owner of Shining Light Travel, after attending the 2015 BMTW earlier this year. “While attending the 2015 workshop, I received a jolt of inspiration and clarity while learning strategies from one of the ‘Experts in Action,’ Michelle Woodson,” said Giroux. “Since then, I’ve secured a lucrative 20+ cabin river cruise group by using that one strategy Michelle shared at the workshop.”

The workshop coincides with a special time for GIFTE: The company is celebrating its fifth year in business. “Just over five years ago, GIFTE was just a vision,” said GIFTE CEO and founder Meredith Hill. “Today, I am humbled by the hundreds of lives we’ve changed and close-knit community we’ve built.” Over 150 travel professionals from across the U.S. and Canada are already registered to attend the 2016 BMTW.

In addition to the strategy-focused two-day-long workshop, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and mingle with over 20 vendors during a complimentary trade show on the evening of the 4th. The BMTW’s main sponsors are Crystal Cruises, Learning Journeys, Starwood Hotel and Resorts and ShoreTrips. Members of GIFTE’s Travel Entrepreneur Success Academy are also invited to attend an exclusive VIP Day ahead of the workshop on the 3rd.

General admission tickets to the Book More Travel Workshop are $349. To learn more about the workshop and to register, please visit: www.bookmoretravelworkshop.com.
