Avoya Mastermind Land Forum
This year, for the first-time ever, Avoya hosted a brand-new professional development event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for Independent Agencies interested in becoming more well-versed in land products, including tours, resorts and destinations.
With educational workshops, supplier and peer-to-peer panels, general sessions, a tradeshow, specialist certification courses and valuable networking available with more than 50 land and destination supplier representatives, Independent Agencies are finding endless opportunities for development and growth within the land-based market.
Continuing Avoya’s philanthropic passion for giving back, participants were also able to partake in a charity event.
This new opportunity for Network members was introduced as part of Avoya 2025, the innovative five-phase roadmap to becoming the number one vacation platform that generates more Shared Success™ for travelers, suppliers and the Avoya Travel Network.
Due to the overwhelming positive response, Avoya has already planned a second Land Forum in early 2020. Avoya is looking forward to continuous growth as part of our dedication to increase our resort and land vacation business, continue growing partnerships and provide ongoing high-quality education programs for the Avoya Network to enable Independent Agencies to plan memorable land vacations at the best value for new and existing clients.
Avoya Mastermind Program™
In 2018, the Avoya Mastermind program was restructured and expanded to provide more tailored education and support to Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network based on their personal sales and industry experience.

Annual Avoya Travel Conference
Once a year, Avoya Executives and Support Staff, Preferred Suppliers and Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network meet for a week of educational opportunities, networking, company updates and more.
The event celebrates the year’s achievements, while maintaining a focus on the future with a lineup of industry-leaders for inspiring presentations and informative panels, general sessions hosted by Avoya’s leadership team and opportunities to interact with fellow Network members, Avoya support staff and preferred suppliers.
Days of learning are made complete with fun-filled themed cocktail hours, celebrations for top-performing agencies and charity events, such as this year’s onboard event honoring Avoya’s late founders, Pal and Pat Anderson, with a Chairman’s Walk for Sea Turtles in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund and Royal Caribbean.
The 2019 Avoya Conference was held on land at the Hyatt Regency Miami, as well as onboard Royal Caribbean’s newly renovated Navigator of the Seas. Attendees were among the first to experience Perfect Day at CocoCay, a private Caribbean destination exclusively for Royal Caribbean guests, as well as the opportunity to explore Atlantis Bahamas or Nassau via a ShoreTrips excursion.
