Travel MDS Coordinator (Clinical Reimbursement)

Who are we seeking:
- This role will play a vital part in the coordination and guidance of the delivery of best-in-class healthcare through the implementation of clinical, regulatory and reimbursement systems. Adhere to state and federal regulations operating in accordance with all elements of The Touchstone Experience.
- This role involves up to 80% weekly travel across all of Touchstone’s communities in Texas, where you will coordinate and guide the delivery of exceptional healthcare through the implementation of clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement systems. Travel is every other week as directed by VP of Clinical Reimbursements.
- A current and valid Texas RN or LVN nursing license
- Four years of experience with Reimbursement system of Medicare, Medicaid & Case Management- preferred
- RAC-CT or CMAC certification (preferred)
The Ideal candidate will possess this following experience:
Coordinate the RAI process, which includes, at a minimum, the following elements:
Minimum Data Set (MDS)
Care Area Assessment process
Care plan development
Care plan implementation
Evaluation
- Coordinate the completion of the comprehensive care plan according to regulatory requirements
- Collaborate to determine skilled level of care for Medicare residents and procuring required Medicare-specific documentation.
- Provide insight and analysis of MDS-based Quality Measures
